   Sequencing bad. Fish arrived while less than third through appetizer. Allowed water to be empty, should have been aware and given water. Never asked if the food was good. Food ok. Servers standing about talking so they had enough staff to give good service.

   The presentation of the food was very nice. The service was good. The salad was cold and well done. My wife had the steak entree salad and loved it. My mother in law I and I had the snapper po boy, also very good. My daughter had the salmon entree and proclaimed it delicious. The restaurant was surprisingly almost empty. Nice meal.

    The server, while polite, made us feel incredibly uncomfortable. She seemed to be in a hurry for us to leave. The food was nothing special. Worst mimosa I’ve had, and I literally asked for the bacon to be burned-it was floppy. The egg white omelette said it had goat cheese. There was no cheese of any kind. The best part was the tomato.

    I had the Fried Green Tomatoes appetizer which were disappointing. I have had much more pleasing ones elsewhere. My main course was Shrimp and Grits which I enjoyed and can recommend.

    It's a great place for a business meeting with enough menu options for the the person who wants a light option like a salad and those that like it heavy like fried chicken. The service was wonderful. Everyone was really polite and aimed to please.

    Staffing shortages due to covid are still impacting the restaurant. Everyone was pleasant and helpful, but water glasses did not get filled and wine was served late.

    This was my second time dining at The House Restaurant. The ambiance and atmosphere inside this gem are amazing. I have only dined here on Sunday evenings and they have live music which adds to the experience in a positive way! I had the Southern Fried Chicken meal that comes with Macaroni n' Cheese and Collard Greens. The chicken and collards were delicious! Both were seasoned really well. All I added was hot sauce. Unfortunately, I was not a fan of the mac n' cheese. I think it may have been the type of cheese that they use - I'm really not sure. Our waitress, Blake, was really helpful. Overall, this was still a great experience. I will be back.

    Our server did a fantastic job. Can’t recall her name but recall that she’s from Jamaica. Four of us in double date before Bob Dylan concert. All had steaks - ladies filets and guys strips. Steaks were cooked perfectly, sides were good. Steaks were great - some of best have had in Montgomery. Kind of a hidden gem here.

    Got in early before the show - our waitress (sorry I can’t remember her name) is one of the best we have had anywhere in Alabama…. Food was great, everything cooked properly…a great night out

    First of all upon arriving, the front desk girl didn’t really acknowledge our guest, upon sitting we had to wait about 15 minutes before meeting our server, server arrived seemed as if she was ready to end her shift (attitude real rude). Placing orders for food and receiving was horrible, we had (gnats) flying over our food and table all night, we asked for a manager and he lied upon handling our tickets, it was my birthday and first time going to the restaurant, I don’t recommend this establishment my entire birthday dinner seemed ruined and all my guest were not satisfied. Our food was cold and all ‼️

    Had lunch here to celebrate a graduation. It was all delicious! Lots of lovely choices. And our server was so polite, kind and helpful. Nice atmosphere and we will come back if ever in Montgomery again!

    The service was terrible. The hostess never looked up to greet us and escorted us to a table in the middle of the room even though there were better seats, as it was very few people dining there. Our waiter was in training and wasn’t friendly and we could barely hear him speak above a whisper. The waiter didn’t know how to properly serve us our drinks. He also acted as though we were bothering him when changes to the orders had to be made. Although the food was great, I would not go back.

    Nice end to a day out with wife. In general we do not go to hotel restaurants (this is a hotel restaurant). However, steak and all aspects were good.

    It is rare for us to go a restaurant since the pandemic and have such an enjoyable time and amazing meal. Our server, Brianna, made excellent recommendations and had such a pleasant smile. We will be back.
