The restaurant is beautifully decorated for Christmas with fairy lights and a warm cosy atmosphere. There is an open fire and comfortable sofas where you can have a drink before your meal. The linguine was tasty although a bit on the sweet side. My friend enjoyed the halloumi cheese dish and the meal was hood value for money. The service was friendly and efficient. We are very likely to be back!

It is a very friendly gastro pub with very good range of good food including for vegan and vegetarians. There are tables also outside but being near to a main road it’s better to sit inside

Very pleasant and accommodating staff, no problem having a starter as a main, delicious mushrooms, piping hot and full of flavour. Cosy rustic ambiance. Would definitely recommend.

found the garden chairs very uncomfortable and hard to move. i had the fish and chips which was overcooked one friend had the pie and the mash and veg was only just warm the other had fish cakes but was to much potato found the puddings far to expensive so didn't bother with them

They struggled with service on Bank Holiday Monday. The food took a long time (30-40 mins) to arrive and many items were cold or luke warm. The menu was good and food was of a good quality, just shame on the service.
