The atmosphere is great. Food and drinks were top notch. Dessert was bland. We had the pecan tart. It needed more flavor and maybe a shortbread crust. We sat by the fire to end our night. We will definitely recommend to our friends and family. Love the farm to table concept.
Beautiful place, friendly staff. Food was overpriced in my opinion for what you get. It was good, just not delicious or something I’d want again.
Birthday Dinner!🎂🎉🎂
We celebrated my husband's birthday with another couple at Hope Farms. So much fun. The atmosphere is elegant, the food delicious and the service was professional, but, not stuffy. Great outdoor spaces
Delicious cocktail! Would love to try more of their farm to cocktails.
I had the beet salad and my friend had the warm mushroom salad. Both were absolutely delicious. We also shared the French fries with mushrooms which were "show stopper" good! Delightful lunch!
Emily, our server, was great. Perfect experience from service to food to the beauty of the restaurant.
This place is a gem! Staff is superb and friendly, building and grounds immaculate. Felt like I was in a vineyard on the west coast. Drinks were excellent and food top notch.
We went for brunch on Saturday. Sat outside to be extra safe from COVID. Was a cold day and heaters were provided and affective. Service was wonderful. Place is stunning! Inside and outdoor courtyard was beautiful. Wine list is incredible!! We had a salad and a flatbread which were both yummy but nothing to write home about. Will definitely be back, looking forward to trying the dinner menu.
Service was fantastic and the food delicious! The Confit of Pork Belly and the Saltwater Margarita were yummmm! We were celebrating my youngest child's birthday, and they had a beautiful hand-written card waiting for him on the table...excellent little touch!
absolutely incredible!
Friends from New Orleans visiting. Tremendous foodies enjoyed entire experience.
Hope Farm is absolutely beautiful. The attention to detail is impressive. The drinks and food are amazing, although pricey. Definitely a special occasion venue.
First, let me say that I love the Hope Farm! A few things could be improved. We were seated in the first room (where you enter) along the left-hand wall. Although it was chilly outside, the air conditioner was running and we wished it hadn't been. There was a vent directly overhead blowing cold air on us. This cools off the food too quickly, as well as the guests.
Also, we would prefer less noise in that room so conversation is easier.
On another occasion, we were seated in a quiet area in the larger room, at one of the high tops. That was nice for conversation, but for me personally (I am a petite woman) I found the chairs too low for the table. I felt like a gargoyle. I wish you had taller chairs for people like me. The ones that are there are no doubt fine for a large man, but not for some of us smaller people. Or maybe you could offer boosters? :)
But the food is great, the whole place is beautiful, and we will definitely be back!
We always enjoy our visits to The Hope Farm! This was our first visit sitting outside and the ambiance did not disappoint once the sun went down. The food was phenomenal as always! Many thanks to Chef Josh Brown and his team! And the service was fantastic as well!
Absolutely loved the food and atmosphere. Service was a little slow but our waiter was great!
We sat outside which was perfect with 4 young children. It really is not a place for kids but our waiter was wonderful and helped us figure out something for them to eat. The waiter really made the whole experience for us. Wish I knew his name. Sunday December 27, 2020
Sunday brunch for 8 was delightful. Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas to start that hit the spot. Fried Bologna Sammie with arugula and awesome sauce was enjoyed by two at our table. Beet salad and veggie flatbread, my choices, were both delicious. Biscuits and gravy was also satisfying. Burger with fried egg and fries was good and even better later after reheat from doggy bag. Blueberry hot tea helped soothe a full stomach. Was pricey but well worth it for the service, ambience of the well-pointed sprawling farm house and the perfectly prepared local produce!
Everything is wonderful!! You can’t go wrong with any items on their menu!!
Without a doubt the best food, service, and dining experience in a long time. I would highly recommend to anyone who has never visited! Will be back very very soon!
The food was good.
We had a reservation months in advance for our wedding anniversary and they sat us at the bar/kitchen entrance. It was like grand central past our table and the staff kept screaming “corner!” If we were a walk in, I could understand getting the worst table in the house. But my planning for my special occasion meant nothing to these people, apparently. I spoke to the “manager” he dismissed my concerns as not important. I do not see us going back to this spot.
Fantastic meal. Great service! We were visiting from ATL and a local friend recommended. I would highly recommend.
Knowledgeable wait staff. Outstanding food. Wonderful atmosphere.
Food was excellent and outdoor dining was comfortable and relaxing
I enjoyed my dessert cocktail!
A 'Napa valley' inspired setting in the Eastern shore of the Mobile, Alabama area. Beautiful facility with multiple dining and drinking spaces to fulfill a lengthy visit or many individual visits. The staff encountered was hospitable and professional. The food derives from many items grown on property and was inventive, attractive and flavorful. The menu was more limited than expected, but it was seasonal and during these 'pandemic days' it is understandable they are keeping things more simple. We will definitely return.
Table by door very cold night. people comming and going on both sides of us. very disappointed in menu. The place is beautiful. I say go for a cocktail. Food was ok..
We celebrated our 25 wedding anniversary and the food was amazing! Loved everything!
An overall nice restaurant for lunch with the exception of the raw oysters. After tasting one which smelled overly fishy we returned them to the kitchen. We asked the waiter to inform the kitchen about the quality. His under responsiveness was overwhelming. This is the second lunch in less than a month where our table experienced poor quality oysters at extravagant prices for a half dozen. This single oyster caused a terrible gastric response that night and following day for my wife.
Holiday Time dinner w/ children
Really enjoyed our meal. Waiter a little inexperienced but nice
We were seated next to the bar and kitchen which made servers walking to the kitchen lean into our table area to avoid the folks sitting and standing at the bar. There were more bar patrons than seats for them, so throughout most of our dinner, several different unmasked people were less than six feet—more like two or three—from our table. We would have appreciated someone from restaurant management taking control of a very obvious CDC guideline violation, but to be fair, we did not complain to them about the situation. Perhaps if we had been seated in a better location and not exposed to unmasked, mobile drinkers, we would have enjoyed what so many people have raved to us about. The setting was distracting and the food did not do enough to make up for that. It’s a gorgeous venue with helpful staff and delicious panna cotta.
This was our first time dining at The Hope Farm. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our experience and look forward to many return visits. Thank you, David and Sherree Brush--Fairhope, AL
Beautiful place and great food, couldn’t have been more pleased.
Beautifully appointed restaurant with a fun bar menu and great wine list, that includes a much better variety than found in most local restaurants. We’ve been several times and the service has been impeccable each time. The food menu includes some interesting choices that you will not find everywhere, as well as options for a simpler palate, ie picky eaters... We will definitely be back!
Food was fabulous! Drinks were unique but tasteful! True dining experience
Everything was exceptional and we will be back on a regular basis.
Everything was perfect-food, ambiance and staff.
A perfect evening. The restaurant was magazine perfect! All the details were perfect from the lighting to the beautiful roses on the tables and the restroom. Not a detail omitted. More importantly the food was fantastic complimented by the excellent service ( Thank you Chrissa). So much of what we were served for dinner was grown on the property. It doesn’t get any better than that.
Hate to sound so over the top but every word is sincere! Woke up the next morning wanting to do it all over again.
We had the chefs picks and they were amazing!
The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and very tastefully done but service was very slow. We had to ask for a waitress after 15 plus minutes after being seated. For a restaurant of this caliber, we expected more, especially when we had a $400 tab for 4 people. We ate inside and the restaurant was not near full capacity. There was a wedding party outside so that may have had something to the slow service. Overall- the food was delicious. We met the executive chef and complimented him. Service was subpar but we will definitely give it another try.
Atmosphere and service was great and the food was excellent. The chef gave us a complimentary cup of soup that was delicious and needs to be on the menu.
