   So we have been here before extremely disappointed this time. We canceled our reservations in mystic because upon looking at the menu we found things we would enjoy! We both ordered NY strip because the Ribeye had garlic butter we don’t like That and when out steaks came there was garlic butter neither of us are a fan but the menu didn’t state it was in the steak. Our waitress did check back but it was 10-+ minutes after we had gotten our food we were hungry and scraped it if but unfortunately neither of us ate even 1/2 of our stea was very over powered w garlic. She wasn’t the one to remove our plates an assistant was but he should. noticed the plates were barly touched and reported it to the waitress she never asked how the food was we declined desert and got the check. Very very very disappointed!

   We had a party of 8 for Easter Buffet and it was terrific. The food was delicious and wait staff super attentive and very friendly. We are looking forward to coming back for dinner in the near future.

   The night we had dinner which was Monday the 14 th the Restsurant was crowed , they were short staffed yet the service was outstanding. Hats off to our waitress and the young man setting tables, cleaning tables and giving water. As to the food the mussels need a sauce that has some flavor. The salads were great but to much dressing. Again service was amazing.

   With a limited staff for a Sunday the service was good, Very friendly and accommodating. Food was good.

   This was a really pleasant surprise - finding such a quality restaurant at the hotel. The food was good and the prices reasonable. There were a few "slow moments" in the service, but generally it was really good. Olivia was very pleasant and nice to talk to. The noise was a little louder than I generally like, but that has more to do with the hotel than the restaurant. Apparently there is a large group of young girls staying for some local dance event. A large group of 10-year-olds can be loud (and so can their mothers!)

   Waiter couldn't take the order right, no notepad, 2 strips, 1 medium,1 medium rare... Both came medium well... Then there's the whole thing with the 21yo old scotch I ordered....had bugs in it. Then they had the audacity to drop a full price check.... Ended up only paying for Calebs.

   Visited on Saturday, March 15, 2025. This has so much potential. First, the good stuff: Drinks... cocktail program was great, and wine service equally impressive. Server brough multiple bottles to the table for tasting prior to ordering by the glass! Food was nicely plated and delicious. Now for the needs improvement... space is beautiful, however, VERY VERY noisy. Noise spills over from the lobby/lobby bar. Like REALLY spills over. LOTS of children yelling, screaming, running around. Now, I know this Marriot is family-friendly, but for a restaurant that bills itself "fine dining", they need to do something about the clientele noise level. I did notice that there were several larger groups with tons of tiny kids off in more private rooms, but close the doors for goodness sake! Then, the lighting... VERY bright when sitting under one of the ceiling lights... they have beautiful little lamps on the tables, but for what purpose when you're sitting under a bright spotlight?? We asked if it was possible to dim them, but was told "no". (by a slightly rude manager) And the music piped in was quite confusing. It was nice when it was jazz (fit the restaurant) but then kept switching over to classic rock and pop. Weird. Not sure what management can do to fix these issues, but we certainly would NOT return if we wanted a romantic or special occasion dinner. Pity.

   The experience notations say that it starts at 5:00 pm SHARP but they wouldn’t even seat us at 4:50 so I think the event should be pushed back if they won’t seat before it supposedly starts. Food was great, attentive staff, delicious wine. In the bar area where we had to wait to be seated the floors were extremely sticky and no one behind the bar. Not a great impression. Also, the only restroom near the restaurant was closed for cleaning just as the dinner let out. Poor timing.

    Prime Rib Wednesday was perfection, especially for the cost. Great food and beyond fantastic service from start to finish.
