The HC Tavern + Kitchen is a family-friendly, classic American grill located at Fishers District in Fishers, IN.     Hostess and waitress were excellent Both wished us Happy Anniversary. Berkshire chop and scallops were excellent but husband thought 3 scallops was not much for price of the dinner. Love the baguettes and whipped butter starter. Noise lrevel was high. We had difficulty hearing each other talk.

    Our Server Kristen was fantastic. We had a wonderful experience. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The crab cakes, the pork chop and the bolognese paste was fantastic.

    We've been to HCT many times and have always enjoyed it. I'm glad last night wasn't our first experience there because we wouldn't go back. The noise was off the charts. Our waitress was slow, unresponsive, didn't know the menu very well, and overall not good. At one point I actually had to flag her down to have her come back because she never took my wife's order. They were out of things we like (e.g. standard menu items like the lobster cargot) and making small modifications to an entree order (e.g. getting green beans instead of mashed potatoes) was not possible for some reason. I wouldn't say we won't be back but with the level of competition on the northside of Indy these days, we'll tray a lot of other options before returning.

    Everything was pretty good. But the prices are way too high for the value. It’s not fine dining. If the service was more professional, then perhaps you could justify the prices.

    Everythung was perfect. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. Our server was attentive and personable. It was a special treat for a 16th birthday celebration and my guests were very impressed with all of it

    Service was quick and the food was good quality. Fairly noisy but not overwhelmingly so! Another great experience at HC Tavern! Highly recommend!

    We were seated upstairs and it was open on a chilly day. We asked to be moved and was moved to a table still upstairs, still chilly but better. We ordered hot coffee to warm up. I know it was extremely busy and appreciated the move. My fries were cold and the waitress got me hot fries. Then I tasted my ribeye sandwich and it too was cold. It was medium well but when it was reheated it became well done and tough. I’m chalking this experience up to the Easter holiday and the number of guests they were trying to serve, as this has not been the case when I’ve dined there previously.
