   Our table was near the bar which was super loud. Our waiter was great but the bar couldn’t get our drinks right. Twice they messed up a simple margarita. Halibut was good but the risotto was not. The best part was the dessert. Highly recommend the key lime pie. The view couldn’t be better and the reason we’ll be back. The interior is beautiful. We all enjoyed the experience.

   We had a large group that was well accommodated. However, the food did not come out at the same time and four out of the eleven dishes had issues. Two halibut dishes were served raw and one risotto was undercooked. The sandwich was served with hard bread. They were quick to try and correct the problem, but it was disappointing. Overall we had a great time, but I was expecting the food to be much better, especially for such a high end restaurant.

   Nice enough prix fixe Easter brunch. But when I asked the hostess for a window seat she said it was already reserved. (I don’t remember an option to pre-reserve a window specifically, and it’s a window type of place.) Anyway, 90 minutes later it was still empty. Super annoying.

   My wife and I chose the Harbor Restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. We arrived on time for our reservation and were greeted at the door by…NO ONE! Despite it being a Friday night, the restaurant was relatively empty. We awkwardly waited to be shown our table, but it took a while and ultimately we were unceremoniously escorted to a beautiful window-side table. The ambiance is lovely and the views spectacular. A private party was going on in the private dining area with a lot of children in attendance, but the waiters continuously left the door open and the fine dining area was treated to what sounded like the lunch room of a middle school. Our waiter was friendly, but seemingly not properly trained in the skills required for a higher-end restaurant. The good news - everything we ate and drank was delicious! The prices were not higher than expected, so it was not a shock. Overall however, It was the service that continued to be disappointing. We were left waiting for especially long gaps between sitting and ordering, receiving drinks and the appetizers, and again for our main course. Our salad arrived after the main course and only because we asked for it. We waited a looooong time before anyone picked up our plates when we finished eating and even the table next to ours complained about the latent service. There appeared to be no manager in sight, and if there was, they clearly didn’t know how to read the room! Although we had stated our anniversary celebration in the reservation, my husband mentioned it to the waiter and he said “oh yeah,” and then dropped off a piece of cheesecake after the meal without ever asking if we wanted coffee or an after dinner drink or to even look at the desert menu. All in all, because of the beautiful setting and the delicious food, we’ll probably go back again. Hopefully by then they will have hired a more attentive manager who can train/guide his crew.

   We came here to celebrate our first anniversary together. The food was amazing the views were beautiful. The staff was okay but did not ask anything personal, why we were there, what we were celebrating, etc. Just very minimal contact/conversation. Had to flag down the server a few times and we got our wine during our meal so we had to awkwardly finish after we already ate.. A little bit of a bummer when celebrating and paying a decent price for a nice meal. Just didn’t feel very warm or intentional. But overall a good experience, everyone was nice enough. Would go again for the food. Probably not for a special occasion though.

   Beautiful view, friendly service, lovely ambiance. Food was delicious! We got the prime rib and halibut. The star was the beet salad, very much recommend.

   Beautiful restaurant and stunning beach, harbor an ocean views. Service was great and food was delicious.

   Positive: beautiful view of the harbor. The food was almost inedible. We ordered a green salad that was a red onion salad( not an exaggeration). 3 of the 4 of us ordered the halibut, highly recommended by the server, that was bland mush. We had to ask for salt. Also had to keep flagging down the server for water,etc Very disappointing as the location is so lovely in SB.

    The Harbor Restaurant has been totally reborn! With locally caught halibut, delicious lobster risotto, seafood pasta, perfectly cooked steaks, and Roth Ironside from Stella Mare's bringing over his awesome mussels, duck confit, and crepe suzette, as well as Chef Gonzalo del Pino's awesome dishes, this is definitely a place to go now! The views are totally unbeatable and the massive remodel is beautiful. Of course I am biased but you will be very pleasantly surprised if you come for Happy Hour, steaks and seafood, exceptional appetizers (the rice with fresh fish is excellent) and great cocktails or mocktails. Lunch and Bruch are fantastic too!
