    The restaurant is super fun and the food was great. However, our server seemed to be completely clueless on how to wait on tables. We got steamed shrimp as an appetizer and asked for both butter and cocktail sauce when we ordered. We got neither and had to wait for 10 minutes to get them. He also did not bring silverware when the food came and did not bring anything to put the shrimp shells on until we asked. We asked 2 different people for hot sauce, which we never got. We wanted to order more drinks when our food arrived, and he never stopped back to see how everything was, so we had to wave him down once again. One of our party ordered a double bourbon and ginger, and he brought him 2 drinks instead of a double! Honestly, give the kid some more training or make him a busboy, because he had no idea what he was doing.

    Omg! Me and my family absolutely LOVED THE HANGOUT! It was such a fun family-friendly atmosphere that far exceeded our expectations! We will definitely be back!

    My family (2 adults, 3 kids) went to The Hangout for the pirates and princesses breakfast buffet. It was AMAZING! Not only was the entire experience more than I expected but the food itself was so good that I’m debating going again before we leave our vacation. The biggest plus for me was that the staff was so caring. My youngest has severe food allergies to dairy and eggs and they assured me that the bacon, sausage, and potato’s would be separated and cooked on another grill so he could enjoy the meal as well. As an allergy mama that is a huge plus to me. Everyone was so friendly from the hosts and waiters to the pirate and princess actors. I highly recommend going! Their dinner menu looks great too and we will probably be back before we leave.

    We had a large party for a birthday celebration for 4 members of the family. Everything was great! However when having large parties of guest our server seemed overwhelmed. Overall 8/10.

    Great experience-style restaurant with entertainment for the family. I’m happy we made reservations because the wait for walk-ups was quite a lot. The food and service was good. The atmosphere and vibe was great.

    Unforgettable Experience at The Hangout! We had such a great time at The Hangout! The atmosphere was full of energy and fun—perfect for our group that included a few teenagers. We were celebrating my niece’s 16th birthday, and it turned into a highlight of our entire Myrtle Beach trip! The staff made it so special, and the table dancing added an extra layer of excitement and celebration. The food was delicious and came out quickly, which was great for our hungry crew. Huge thank you to The Hangout for creating such an unforgettable birthday memory. We’ll be talking about this for years to come!
