This is a Southold must restaurant. The cocktails were fun, Seafood amazing, Montauk swordfish, and steamers, simply the best. Our waitress was terrific and recommended menus options . The view is beautiful. Enjoy. the O'Rourke's will be back.

This place has quickly become my new favorite restaurant on the North Fork. The dining room is comfortable, energetic without being too loud and has beautiful views of the Long Island Sound. The service is friendly and professional. The new chef offers an innovative seafood-based menu. The fish is very fresh and well-prepared. We particularly enjoyed the pan seared scallops, grilled Montauk swordfish, and the spiced carrots. The wine list is well organized and fairly priced and includes many local options. Even the wine by the glass list is unique and offers some small producers. I can't wait to eat on the deck on a warm summer night.

We went to the Halyard for our wedding anniversary. They treated us very well, the service was great. The food was fantastic. I had a stuffed clam appetizer that had sausage in it and was out of this world. The house made chocolate gelato was extraordinary. We haven’t been there in a few years, but we’re coming back soon.

We were so thrilled to get into the Halyard on Memorial Day weekend. Everything was amazing as usual. Food was delicious, service was fabulous. This is one of our favorite restaurants. The view in the summer months is fabulous as well. Definitely a must try restaurant when you are out east.

We loved everything about our experience. Our Server and the manager were exceptional. We tried the puffer fish and it was delicious. Having an incredible sunset made our evening even better. This was a perfect evening to end a perfect weekend. Look forward to eating there again.

From host, to captain, to busser- folks just seemed gassed. The nicest folks were the rotating management or expo floating. But not 1 of the other smiled at us. Whatever, everything else is perfectly curated. Just felt like they are there, making money, at sunset, at least fake it

A wonderful culinary experience, with a staff open to questions and able to provide generous service. We have eaten in Greenport, Shelter, and Sag Harbor many times and this now makes a wonderful addition to those three locations. The best way to sum up our experience is "Outstanding"

I want to give the Halyard a 5 start review. Because the room and the ambience is perfect for a beach weekend. However I was disappointed. The prices are very high now and with a very limited menu. Only 6 entrees at very high prices and 3 of them came with French fries. I wanted to substitute the fries and they would not let me so I needed to spend an addition $14 on a vegetable side. My fish was overcooked and dry. Service was not up to the prices they were charging. So I am going to need to think twice about coming back here unfortunately.
