The Habit is Charleston's first true multi-tiered entertainment experience. The Habit is an art deco-inspired setting with distinct spaces on each floor - spanning 13,000 sq ft. We offer something for everyone at any time of day. The main dining will be open from 9:30 a.m. - 10 p.m. daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (and stays open until 2 a.m. for cocktails). On Friday and Saturday, we will feature a limited late-night menu. Our second-floor peacock lounge opens daily at 5 p.m. and stays open until 2 a.m. Also on the second floor, you will find V's our entertainment space where you can purchase tickets for a show or have a VIP experience dancing the night away. Finally, experience the splendor of a Charleston evening from our rooftop bar/lounge. We also offer three VIP areas for reservations on the roof (they seat 10-12 people and have private TVs). Come for a meal, watch a sunset or stay for a show whatever you choose you're sure to make it a habit!

    Food and drinks were superb! I asked for a change of liquor in a custom drink and they were accommodating without seeming annoyed, even though they might’ve been 😆 overall great experience!

    Bar selection was good and i would say average for pricing in the area. Food was ok but very pricy for what you get. Portions were very small and no sides included with the meal. The only one that didn't leave hungry was the one that ordered the burger which was like every other burger in the area. Good to try once

    We had the hash browns for an app, that were delicious! The bloody Mary’s were perfect. The shakshuka was good, not great, but the bread to dip in the tomato sauce was amazing. The breakfast sandwich with pressed fingerling potatoes were perfection. Coffee was good great service. Beautiful ambience. Clean bathrooms. It would be a great place for a cocktail with a friend or date at the bar. We were disappointed there wasn’t a raw bar/menu available for brunch, as that is what we had wanted. Probably our fault for not looking at exact menu.

    If you’re looking for good food, don’t bother going there for Southern Cuisine. Yelp lied putting it as number one. Mediocre and very expensive oysters appetizer with 2 specks of caviar on top. My husband had crab cakes and I had shrimp. They were blah, nothing special to it. We wasted precious time going there.

    Excellent start to finish. We had the blistered green beans, chicken sandwich, jumbo scallops, and the seasonal cobbler (apple, with butter pecan ice cream). SO good! Service was very good and the staff were very kind to our infant daughter. We will be back!

    Food and cocktails were amazing. Moe was our server and was fantastic. We had blistered green beans, tuna, hummus, and truffle fries to start. All great but stand out was green beans. The garlic shrimp and risotto were for dinner and absolutely delicious.

    The upstairs outdoor area was fabulous, but the food was not. I think it is a good place to go to have a drink and bar food but not a meal.

    Excellent food and an overall enjoyable dining experience. Our waiter was nice and attentive but seemed to be a little inexperienced. Appetizer dishes weren’t cleared before the entrees arrived, so our table was quickly full. We enjoyed our meal and would definitely dine there again.

    It is a unique space with large open doors to watch the city go by while you dine. The Tuna Poke Bowl was the standout favorite with the mushroom risotto a close second. The Fall Guy cocktail was a subtly autumn take on an old-fashioned.

    Honored reservation, food was very good. Some prices made sense others did not. A side of (good) bacon was $8… for 2 slices. We were also disappointed to be seated at 11:45, order drinks and ask if the lunch menu was available in addition to brunch menu. The waitress checked and said no lunch yet. While we were sitting everyone around us had received lunch food.

    Had the filet mignon skewers. Flavor was good, but meat was chewy. Fries were so-so. Loved the decor, but many of the female staff were so scantily clad that what could have come across as an upscale restaurant seemed less so.

    I ordered the French toast. It came out as deep-fried French toast sticks. Unfortunately, I can’t eat fried food, and I would not have ordered it if I had known it was fried. I tried it and it melted into a mouthful of oil. I would have said something, but our server found herself busy with other tasks. My friend has the breakfast sandwich, and when she bit into it, a huge River of liquid sprang from the bottom of the sandwich. She couldn’t finish her meal either. Unfortunately, I will not be back to this restaurant and will not recommend it.

    Fantastic! We had brunch. Definitely start with the Poutine, we asked for seconds on the gravy and all but drank it. We had the Bad Habit, the Breakfast Sandwich and Shakshuka - omgoodness - was good. Service on point and the restaurant decor is gorgeous. Wish we were there to see the second floor lounge and rooftop --- already have it on the bucket list for Charleston next trip. Go there and eat. Great value for the $$$.

    Very cool building and decor. Food was decent. Mushroom risotto was rich and yummy. Music was loud 80’s/90’s which didn’t really seem to suit the atmosphere. Service was ok. Hoped to see the live music which was noted on the website during dinner hours but there wasn’t any.

    We have been coming to Charleston for years! The Habit is such a welcome newbie! Adult sophistication!! Had such a great time. Owner Michele was terrific and welcoming and can not wait to visit again. Highly recommend. !!

    Had a great time for lunch! Will be back for dinner to check out all three levels of the business. Each floor brings a new experience and can’t wait to try them all. Had a few lunch dishes: mushroom risotto, tuna tartar and lamb medallions. All VERY good. Great drinks, super cool feel to the place and the team was great, including a tour of the areas not open during the day. New rooftop spot as well.

    The food was good but the servings were very small. The menu is confusing - no appetizers, entrees versus sandwiches and sides. They are all randomly thrown on the menu so you don't know how much food to expect. The food we ordered was the size of a side dish but cost what you'd expect for an entree. It took 5 minutes to get a host to sit us and another 10-15 minutes to find a server. There was no California chardonnays by the glass. The ambience was nice but only 6 customers on a busy Sunday evening full of tourists.

    My husband and I were lucky enough to sit on the rooftop on a beautiful sunny afternoon to enjoy the view and yummy food! We were torn between the crispy chicken sandwich, the garlic butter shrimp, and the crab cakes. We ended up splitting the smash burger and fries with a side of lemon garlic aioli , the harvest salad (add honey crisp apples to it, trust me!), and finished with the honey crisp cobbler. Everything we ate was DELISH! If we lived in Charleston, this would definitely be our go to!

    First let me say, we are on vacation so we found this restaurant on open table. Service was wonderful! Food tasted good, but everything came out either Luke warm or cold. We sent back a couple of things which then came out hot. But the fabulous part was they then brought out 2 fresh dishes for the inconvenience. I would rather have them take it off our bill, but the gesture was wonderful.
