I love coming to this place
Quality food. Steaks were just good. Not great as I've had in the aged category. Everything was fresh and our server John was superb. A true gentleman and his professionalism and friendliness were greatly appreciated.
Biggest disappointment I’ve had from a restaurant. Expected quality service and food, especially for the price point which is comparable to Del Friscos and Eddie V’s. Poor (slow) service all around. Had an OpenTable reservation but still waited over half and our and waiter was never around. Food lacked any presentation and very bland. Two stars for interior design aesthetics.
Great place to dine. Service and staff was excellent. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to have dinner or drinks.
Exquisite food and a delight to watch other tables receiving their tableside-prepoed plates!
Excellent food and service.
Came for Mother’s Day and the experience was amazing!!! Our waiter John G. was awesome and the food was ever better! He explained every meal we asked about and gave a great understanding of what The H is all about. The experience we had is all because of him, we felt at home and enjoyed every second. Thank you John!!!
Great food and experience! Definitely recommend if you want to celebrate a special occasion.
Couple different issues for dinner. Ran out of beer, tea/lemonade, and forgot an appetizer we ordered.
Mother’s Day brunch
Mothers Day brunch. Has a fixed menu which limited what we could get. We had been there other times and were hoping for full menu. Food was very good though
Do not do brunch! Is not worth $70 a person. Miami has awesome $70 brunches that do not even come close. Regular dinner is much better !
Mother’s Day brunch with my mother! We had an amazing time. Will definitely come back !
We went to The H for Mother's Day and did not realize that there was only a brunch offering and not offerings from the regular menu that was posted on the website. The charge per person was $70! We were offered unlimited starters, but we were not happy with what was served. One of the starters was a pastry plate. The danishes were good but the croissants were not fresh...very hard. Then we were offered a second course of side dishes. These were a bit to exotic for our tastes, although one in our party loved and devoured them. We all thought the potato dish should have had more flavor and should have been served warm. We all ordered the Filet Mignon as our main course and we all pleased with its flavor and doneness but it was small compared to most others we have had. It was served with mashed potato, which had an unusual seasoning which we did not really care for. Although, when butter, salt and a very good pepper were added, it helped greatly.
All in all, 3 out of 4 of us were not happy with the meal and we all felt $70 was far too expensive for a meal we didn't fully enjoy. I would not return to this restaurant and will not recommend it to others.
Love it!!!!! Disfrutamos esa noche, buen ambiente, buena atención, lindo lugar y rica comida..
Still one of our favorite date nights in Orlando after 10 plus experiences. Great wait staff and hostess even knew my name! Little details like that go a long way. Salmon Croquettes are a must-get. Parpadelle never a bad idea. Filet was good though not memorable (go with the Short Rib or Manti). Off night by the bartenders. Old Fashion was missing its smokiness and a little bit of sweetness. Not a huge fan of the Turkish coffee cake with Orange Sorbet.
We had to drive from Jacksonville, so we had to provide that level of feedback. A 2nd location would make this 5 STARS. We were somewhat disappointed, however, that only one entrée came out. Apparently the cheese wheel was being used somewhere else at that time. And, that take had no other food served at that time. POOR PRIORITIZATION! If you only have one, get a 2nd one. This is the only reason we visited and it was a disappointment.
Our first time to The H and we will return. It was a busy night at the restaurant, but our table was ready when we arrived. We told the server that we wanted to take our time and not be rushed, the food and drink flowed accordingly. We began with their delicious cocktails and cheese & charcuterie plate, that was a nice blend of flavors and textures. The lentil soup was a nice accompaniment, coming in at the end our our appetizers. I enjoyed the Branzino (fish) cooked with charcoal on the Joseph Grill, placed on a bed of Beluga lentils. My wife enjoyed the slow cooked duck leg with orange braised Belgian endive. Along with a nice selection from the wine list, we also shared a side of the Cous & Cheese (Couscous, cauliflower, cheese sauce, herbed bread crumbs) which was delicious. Top it all off with the imported Turkish baklava with vanilla ice cream, it was a delicious and satisfying meal.
A “mediterranean steak house” with Turkish roots; the H exceeded our expectations and we will return!
Very underwhelming experience considering how much we spent on our dinner. First, they sat us at the tiniest table when there’s 6 of us. We asked to switch tables but they said all the other tables were reserved. At the time, the restaurant was fairly empty with only 3 tables being used. And some of the tables stayed empty throughout the course of our terrible dining experience.
My sister and I ordered the Purple Jade drink and it tasted horrendous. We also ordered a slew of appetizers. The octopus was not fresh at all. Their house bread was $5 per basket and it wasn’t made the same day either. It was hard as a rock! Mind you, we drove all the way from Tampa to dine here. The Tampa restaurants serve complimentary bread baskets that are warm and soft so my expectations for The H were quite high given the price-point.
We ordered scallops, a pasta dish, some sides and two orders of the Tomahawk Steak for 2. The Tomahawk Steak was each priced for over $100 but it tasted terrible. The glazed carrots were hard. We only ate two carrots out of the plate.
The service was good but can be better. They forgot one of the drinks we ordered (Old Fashioned) so my Mom waited a bit for that. We would be more understanding if they were busy slammed but they weren’t. We went to eat at 4:30pm, the restaurant wasn’t busy at all.
Needless to say, none of us will be coming back to dine here. Very dissatisfied and disappointed with everything.
The server was very inattentive to our needs as first time guests. When we shared unsatisfactory feedback about the food he simply responded with "ok". This is an establishment that we all placed on our dining wish lists and were very disappointed with our experience.
Amazing place! Tasty food and great songs!
This place was wonderful ! Exceeded my expectations
A bit pricey for the size of the plates.
The steaks from The H's josper grill are outstanding - the bone-in ribeye is butter soft and extremely tasty. Great to see halloumi on the menu too - rare in Central Florida. Fantastic staff who ensure you have a wonderful evening - and the H has a realxed terrace that isn't quite as hectic as the indoor atmosphere. Something for everyone.
Ambience, service and food were good. Very expensive and not worth the small portions. Steaks weren’t what we expected.
Love it here. Great food and ambiance. Only thing is they were out of a lot of wines & last time I went I had to send my steak back because it was over cooked. Another thins is they always say their Wi-Fi is down..
The H is a beautiful place and has fantastic food & wait staff. The Manager wasn’t the greatest and was not accommodating to our needs. We were there early with plenty of tables available inside. We had requested outside with our reservation but because it was 98 degrees outside we wanted to switch. The fans outside do not help at all with the heat. So we asked, and the Manager denied us. We went outside and it was so had I asked the hostess one more time without the Manager around and they sat us at a high top since they wouldn’t give us one of the many available tables, yet they allowed a walk-in a table. Part of the reason we chose The H was to see the presentation of the steak cutting and the pasta in the cheese wheel. Because we were at the bar, they said that wasn’t possible. I ordered a drink, 3 times they said they had what I wanted and then in fact did not. They ended up giving me something that was a very good high end for a low end cost, which I didn’t ask for but that was nice. The food was incredible other than maybe the pasta being too al dente for my tastes. My only complaint was the liquor choices on the menu, the Manager and them not working with us when I requested a change.
the best steak house in the city hands down I loved every part of it from the food to the service
Best meal I've ever had. Everything was incredible.
If you want someplace that looks pretty, go for it! If you want a portion of food that’s filling and tastes good, avoid here. Steak literally had no taste and pasta was undercooked, I know what al dente is, this wasn’t it. It’s very small portions for cost. Think 4 asparagus $9; a cake a little bigger than a saltine cracker. Again if you want great pictures for social media, this is it! But food wise... you’d be better off at Texas Roadhouse!
Outstanding food as always. The Wagyu was prepared table side and perfection.
Unique food with excellent service!
I have eaten at the h a few times and unfortunately this probably will be the last . The food was mediocre at best , prices extremely High and the service started well and ended disastrous. We couldn’t even find our waiter by the end of the evening . The DJ is a nice edition but wit no space to dance or enjoy pointless. The restrooms were the worst with the expansion you would think this would be the first to get a facelift . Two stalls for an extremely large establishment. I wish they would have Stuck with what I fell in love with Initially but I guess we you have to cater to masses this happens but we won’t be returning
Amazing service and food was spectacular!
Fantastic dry aged tomahawk I shared with my better half. Room is vibrant and servers were pleasant and efficient. All the sides and accompaniments were excellent.
Def will be back! Everything was phenomenal.
I had my 24th birthday dinner there and it was great. The service was great. The food and presentation was great as well. The dessert needed some work, but overall I really enjoyed my experience. I will be back !
I really dislike leaving bad reviews and tend to find the good in every situation however in this instance I feel I must. Being said everyone’s tastes and opinions differ my family and I tend to keep an open mind. Four of us out tried four different styles of the menu and appetizers . Sad to say the drinks and ambiance were the best part of the dining experience . For the quality of food the price point on the menu does not add up . I wish I could say that the restaurant was of the rating I see other post but in and the other three accompanying me we found the walk to bar taco was more rewarding .
Pros- great ambiance, nice date area low level noise , fantastic drinks (smoked old fashioned is a must ) lots of high end vehicles to make it seem more upscale very clean . Restrooms were clean as well as inside and outside area . Great patio seating or bar area is very nice
Cons- price point for the quality was way off. Steak was thin and more fat than meat . Pappardelle was interesting to see made but small quantity and quality was not much higher than Olive Garden , testi kebab was good and cooked in the pot was great to see but again not very high end taste , salmon sarma was cooked well but with no real flavor from the sides
Wait staff was poor naturally I figure we all have off days but 3 of 4 were not attentive or friendly . But hey we all have our bad days
Save your cash and try another spot better food is out there but go for a drink
Outstanding food and service. Great value for the money. The Wagyu Pastrami appetizer was to die for. Everything was just out of this world. Can’t recommend this highly enough.
