The Grumpy Rabbit

Loved the food. Was extremely clean and comfortable. I will definitely make the effort to go anytime I am even remotely near Little Rock.

This was our family’s second visit to the Grumpy Rabbit. It is a fantastic little gem and in my opinion a great dining experience for a small town in Arkansas. The menu is limited in quantity of selections but the ones that I have tried have all been fantastic. The backstory of this business is fun to hear and it’s great to learn people love their home towns and want to invest in it. They put great effort in the decor and finishes in the building and gives a rich feeling to the meal. Many of the staff are local kids learning the ropes of an upscale restaurant so give some grace in the service area. To sum it up I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area or are looking for a little road trip.

My family and I visited for the first time for brunch. I had the swamp grits which were great! Everyone else had burgers and fries and al agreed that they were good. Portions were large. We also had tater tots( house made) for appetizer. Yum.
My son and I split the dessert of the day which was salted caramel gelato. It was just ok.
Service was excellent, and the atmosphere was wonderful. We will return for dinner some evening.

Great service. The Broad appetizer was just right for 4. The cocktails were well made. The main courses were delicious.

Wasn’t sure what to expect but was very surprised. Loved the history behind the building. The board was a great way to share small bites and try several items. Waitress was very helpful and took care of us even splitting the ticket on things each couple shared! Will be going back soon !

Food was great. We made our reservation through Open Table app and were seated immediately! Our waiter Darbonne was great - he recommended the signature carrot cake for dessert (which we shared) and it was wonderful!

We enjoyed our first dinner at the Grumpy Rabbit and will definitely be back! Our server Mary Robin was so pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu and also describing the specials. The blackened redfish was delicious and the night's special, bourbon burger, did not disappoint. We can't wait to go back and try the other items on the menu!

The food was very good. Excellent vibe and atmosphere. Seems like the kind or restaurant you’d see in a much, much larger city or college town. The menu isn’t huge but has enough to appeal for most. The best thing was the savory cheesecake that came on the charcuterie board. The single layer carrot cake was also outstanding.

They were out of a lot of food. We drove 40 minutes and not sure we would return.

The ambiance is "cold". There were at least 8 staff at the time and the service was slow. Prices are too high. Food is fair.

my first time this morning took the wife for mother's day the food was the best iv ever had and I'm a fat boy so I know my food it was great the people and servers was awsome and nice drinks stayed filled will be back again

We didn’t have a good experience with our server. At one point I wondered if he was acting grumpy in a joking way to go along with the name. But then decided no because if that continued people wouldn’t keep coming. He never said anything ugly. But his expressions and body language communicated a lot. I was really disappointed because a friend of mine had raved about the place. Hopefully not all the servers act that way.

We LOVED this swanky place! The food was delicious and Cassie is a good server but Darbonne was amazing! He was helping EVERYONE plus waiting on his own tables and just being super helpful and knowledgeable about the restaurant. We will definitely be back!

We drove in from Houston Texas on Wednesday, April 21 and experienced the surprise of our lives. Having read the reviews for the Grump Rabbit prior to our trip we knew we would be pleased. What we did not expect was 5 star food, cocktails, service and ambience.. We will definitely return.

Ive made two trips for brunch. A fun outing w family. Ready to try dinner. Need a party bus w driver!

I had the red fish which was good . The service was okay .

The food was good but was over powered by the horrible service. They did a wonderful job of restoring an old building while creating a beautiful ambiance with adorable rabbit themed accents.
Before the server came to get our drink order it was obvious she was having an awful day or didn't want to be there. While were there we did not feel welcome and it put a damper on our entire experience. The servers interactions with other tables and staff made for great people watching though. It was like a train wreck we couldn't look away from.
We ordered The Board to share as an appetizer- Very good with beautiful presentation. The sausage and bologna were delicious.
Then The Roast Beef Sandwich to split - Fries were delicious, sandwich nothing special.
These two items came out together which made our meal even more awkward due to the presentation of the board. Due to the attitude of the server we just went with it. I didn't want to add gasoline to her fire.
The carrot cake was the saving grace of the meal. It was amazing and i would give them another try just for this cake. Not too sweet. perfect.

We were in town for a bridal shower and my husband was searching for local eating places. He found The Grumpy Rabbit on the web, so we made a reservation. The food was fantastic as well as the atmosphere. The modern twist on good southern specialties blends perfectly with old building. The staff were all very nice and willing to meet our every need. If you are passing through Lonoke, AR around lunch or dinner, it is well worth your time to get off of I 40 and make the 1.5 mile drive into downtown. You won’t regret it.

The decor, service and food was outstanding. Loved what they did with the building.
The only thing that detracted from the experience was the sheer amount of televisions, all playing a sports channel. Glad the volume was turned down!

It was our first visit to the Grumpy Rabbit. It was so good! I highly recommend it! I had the Reuben sandwich with homemade french fries. It was excellent!

We drove from Benton to try this place out and loved the food, the atmosphere, our waitress and met the owner who was beyond delightful. We definitely will go back again!!

I finally found good Corned Beef Hash in Central Arkansas. Bloody Mary’s were good too!

We really enjoy it here. The ribeye crawfish Etouffee was excellent. The Board is a great start!

We'd been hearing great things about this restaurant so we drove the 30 miles from Little Rock to see if it was as good as we'd heard. IT WAS! We're already going back again this week. We called all our friends on the drive back to let them know. Its such a fun road trip. From the minute you walk in and see the "I'm not Grumpy" t-shirts on the staff and for sale you know you're in a happy place. Then the food arrives and every bite is to die for. My husband had the shrimp and grits and it included fish. The grits were the softest, creamiest ever. I ordered the Wedge salad with grilled shrimp and it came with roasted corn. The serving was more than I could even eat. We were so full we took a piece of carrot cake home and it was moist with just the right amount of car
rot and cream cheese icing drizzled in caramel. And this was just Saturday BRUNCH.
The atmosphere is totally local and casual. There's a nice little bar and an upstairs. Plenty of room to self distance. Masks required. Reservations highly suggested.

Not as good as the first time. We had a larger party this time though-10. Maybe the waitress was new.
