The Grove Savannah
Serving lunch, dinner & late night drinks daily.
Great for groups!
Great food for sharing. The chicken sliders were especially delicious!
Everything was delicious!
I have had dinner at the Grove several times in the past and it was always a great experience. Times have changed, we were able to sit on the roof top which is always great but that was the highlight of the night.
Service - Slow, Slow, Slow
Food - Subpar, the charcuterie tray was pitiful. Dinner arrived five minutes after the appetizer arrived. Poor timing.
Drinks - warm, it seems ice was on short supply.
It will be sometime before I try them again.
Food and service was great. Music level sounded like we were in a club. Could barely hear our waiter. Seemed like all the staff got off work and hung out at the bar. They were very loud, getting drunk and cussing everywhere. Food was great but couldn’t wait to get out of there so I could hear myself think again
The cutest place to eat in Savannah!!! Went for Mother's Day brunch and it was great!
Service was slow but food was good.
We absolutely loved our dinner at the Grove. I came here for my bachelorette a couple of years ago & brought my husband back because I loved it so much! We had the sweetest date, the staff was so kind & quick, everything we ate & drank was delicious, and the restaurant is gorgeous! Thank you for such a great experience!
I go here all the time and love it so much! Never had a bad meal or drink here!
Really good food service. Made sure that we were well taken care of! Loved it here! Will be back next time I am in Savannah!
If you don’t like masks and do like over salted food, this is the place to go! It is probably the most OK meal I’ve ever had dining out in Savannah.
The restaurant was out of our first three selections.
Beautiful restaurant with good food and drinks. The music is a little loud but fine for a date night when you don’t want the neighboring table hearing your conversation. All the staff were friendly.
Very loud environment but the food was outstanding.
Worst dining experience ever. Two light bulbs shattered around our table. Glass everywhere. I took pieces and the metal parts to the manager who came out to assure us that they would review security cameras. While they took over 30 minutes to return, a third light bulb literally fell in my lap. At this point no one had come back to speak to us so I went back in, bulb in hand. They apologized, said it must have been some kids...who all 6 of us had seen away from the area when the bulbs where busting. The manager said she would review tapes and to let her know if we needed anything else. I stated again, we were absolutely finished and ready to leave. We then waited another 30 minutes till I went in and demanded our checks. Each was given WITH and added auto 20% gratuity that was added AFTER tax was added to the total. From the time I reported the glass shattering till we left not one water was refilled. The only resolution that was offered was a round of free shots...to a table who only ordered off their MOCKTAIL menu as we had to 19 year olds in our party whom they never even requested ids from prior to offering. We declined the drink as it was just another insult and display of how poor their customer service is. Who would ever offer alcohol without checking ids, to women ordering mock tails, who possibly had glass shards in their food??? Honestly, I thought we were being punked. Poor customer service, terrible service, inattentive management, dangerous environment, awful restaurant and management.
So loud. Glorified bar. Not a classy restaurant
Loved our experience at The Grove!
Service and food were excellent!
We will be back!! Cheers!
They at first brought the wrong salad but corrected it with a 10 minute wait.. I asked for no charge on the salad but they refused
We met some friends here for a 12:30pm reservation. When we arrived the doors were locked, but someone came out to let us and others know that they wouldn't be opening until 1pm, but didn't tell us why. Fortunately, it was a lovely day so we just waited outside.
We were able to sit on the rooftop which has a more limited menu than the main restaurant. It's all good. My friend got the shrimp burger, which looked great and it's probably what I will get if we return to Savannah. My salad was delicious and our spouses also enjoyed their food.
They were a little short handed, so it took a while for the bartender to take our food order, but everything worked out. Nice place for lunch. We'd return.
Awesome hand crafted cocktails! The staff was super friendly and made us feel like family.
The food was cold, service was slow and we tried 3 times to order a drink from the bar and never got it.
We enjoyed our dinner at the Grove while visiting Savannah. It was not crowded so we were able to social distance. Food was very good service as well. Noise level loud though.
Very disappointed. Had a reservation for 6 for Sunday. Could only order from the brunch menu. Exchanging fries for a salad was $1 extra? Prices pretty high for portion size. What put me over the top was the suggestion $8 for a screwdriver was a good deal. Sadly in a town full of college students you would think there would be no shortage of workers, but it seemed under staffed. Sadly I cannot recommend.
Beautiful space with great drinks. Food was nothing out of the ordinary, but all flavorful and fresh. Burger and bloody Marys were amazing. Wish there were GF options, but that is a personal preference. Staff was attentive and accommodating.
I would definitely return.
The atmosphere and food were fantastic! The menu is a little pricey and the bar was backed up a bit, so it took a while to get our drinks. Overall, we enjoyed it!
Best chicken and biscuits I've had. Cool atmosphere. It rained so we were inside but we wanted to sit outside had it been nicer.
We went for my niece’s 21st birthday and we had a blast. The speciality drinks where amazing and fun. The honey fries where to die for. We ended up order extras they were soo good
Me and my guest sat down quickly because we had a reservations but once we sat the drinks came back immediately, and food didn’t take 10 minutes if that. Food was as we expected , nice and hot. I would recommend going there for any occasion. For sure will be back soon.
Would highly recommend purchasing visions for the little corner booths! You are basically sitting on a wooden box w/ no back support and it was so uncomfortable. We probably would have had more drinks and stayed longer if it wasn’t so uncomfortable. Service was average. Never got that refill on our waters! Such an easy thing to take care of. The Chatham cocktail was very different and loved it.
Wonderful menu and delicious food!
Service was friendly, we loved it.
Had a terrific early dinner. The staff was super and attentive. Amazing knowing that they are probably running at only half the staff they need due to no one wanting to work. The back of the house/kitchen got the food out quickly and plated very nicely. Had the bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer. This can be a very difficult dish to pull off. Frequently, restaurants will overcook the shrimp and the dish will come out cold. Amazingly, the shrimp was cooked perfect and the temperature at the table was hot.
Our main courses were all very good and well presented. Thanks for a nice early evening and for great food.
Part of a Southern Road Trip
We were disappointed because they were out of okra which was the chief reason we chose the restaurant. Then they were out of bacon for the Cobb salad. The hummingbird cake was good though.
The Grove was an AMAZING experience! We went to Sunday Brunch for my birthday and it was such a nice time! They had live music, friendly staff and the food was delicious!!
Not very clean. Service was great, but I couldn’t even order food because I wasn’t sure how clean anything was. We had drinks then left.
Very good. Great shrimp and grits.
my favorite thing was that they allowed my party to be seated while my partner and I parked the car. (didn't require the entire party to be present in order to be seated for our reservation)
Great food and great place. The noise level was to loud and I had to shout across the table to hear the other person
The live music, Ethan, was amazing! Couldn’t have asked for better weather or a nicer rooftop experience!
The Grove is a really awesome spot in Savannah with a great rooftop and really delicious food and drinks. We went on a Saturday around 1 pm, were sat right away which was great but our service was super slow and waitress seemed pretty unfriendly. They were definitely very packed, so I'm sure it's overwhelming but it's always tough when you have a server that doesn't seem happy to be there. Otherwise, the live music was great and we enjoyed everything we got there.
Great appetizers and drinks!
