First time we have tried the place based on reviews. Food was really excellent and really pleasant staff. Excellent value and a nice buzz being able to watch the kitchen at work. Will definitely go again. Highly recommended.

A very good place to eat after The Lyric Theatre. We ate quite late and the restaurant was practically empty apart from a group of extremely loud football supporters!!!! The owner apologised for the noise they were making but it slightly spilled our dining experience. However, the food was great and the service was friendly, efficient and and helpful . We had actually eaten at The Grove before during the summer and had sat outside ; it was extremely pleasant!! Definitely worth a visit ! We’ll go again!

Second visit for pre-theatre meal with friends..... these ones are foodies and it was excellent! a good selection of wines and an interesting menu. food is very well cooked and presented, service was very friendly and efficient. will always use this for pre-theatre in the future - a great find. thank you

I come to this place often because I live locally and it has never disappointed me. The place is never crowded which is very rare in London. You can enjoy a quiet meal in a place that does not require you to book in advance. It does not look particularly fancy and they offer your typical bar foods but you can also a "nice meal" rather than just a "bar meal". Staff are very professional and friendly.
