The Grille at the Glen, located in Salem Glen Country Club, is open to the public and offers top-notch, casual fine dining in our dining room and on our patio Wednesday - Saturday evenings 5-9 pm Our menu has something for everyone from flatbreads to burgers and fresh seafood to steaks. Chef Ben and his staff prepare a variety of unique features every week that are posted on our website. We also have a separate Sports bar, Jack's Grill which is open daily with a more relaxed atmosphere for dining and drinks before or after a round of golf.

Decided to try something new seeing good reviews with this country club open to the public. We very much felt like outsiders with no signage to indicate where we should go and no one greeting us. Just as we were about to abort, someone came to the hostess stand we finally found to seat us in the middle of an empty dining room between a noisy bar and another bustling room. Patrons walked through the space from one adjacent room to another. Food was pretty good but we generally didn’t feel the bill we received matched with the overall experience. Service was fair with food a bit slow to arrive. Seems to be best suited to the members of the club, as everyone else seemed to know each other. If you’re looking for a safer dining experience in the pandemic, this isn’t it. Patrons and to a lesser degree staff with irregular and poor masking.

This Salem Glen Country Club eatery is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! The new menu is a keeper as well as the house wines. Staff is always first rate. You can make reservations for the dining room even if you aren’t a member. One of Clemmons best kept “secrets”!
