   Excellent food and wine. Great service, very friendly atmosphere. Not too formal but food was way above average for a pub! Really nice decor and good vibe in general! Would definitely recommend.

   Went for Sunday Lunch, very disappointed. Chicken was not cooked and the beef in the beef wellington was very tough.

   Classic Sunday roast; we had beef Wellington and pork belly, and both were perfect. Accompanied by roasted veggies, potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and a decent wine. Fun place, mostly 30-somethings ( our youngest kid's age, so fine for the mature set, too).

   Great ambiance and staff were attentive and personable , We went for a Sunday roast - not much choice on the menu . The roast beef wellington was very tasty but not enough ( only one slice per person )

   We didn't actually get to take up our reservation. We were called 2 hours before dinner to say the restaurant had no power in the kitchen. Most disappointing and rather late to rebook another restaurant of choice

   Best roast I have had in London! So hard to find a place that feels so homely and having such high quality. Couldn’t recommend more

   We booked Sunday lunch as it was convenient for something else we were doing in the area. The dining room was spacious, nice and quiet and cosy. The staff were lovely and the location was handy for lots of other things too. Wine list excellent and well-priced. But where was my beef Wellington?? The plate was groaning with great veg, but I was served a single small slice of a scant few millimetres of beef and my partner had a sole meagre slice of roast lamb. I get the ‘more veg less meat’ thing, and the meat was lovely; but my roast cost £20, so it felt really overpriced. And there was only one pud on. I’d like to go again when the full menu is on to see how it compares.

    Really enjoyable lunch with the in-laws, delicious drinks and relaxed atmosphere. We’re def going back, the food was delicious, we shared tasting plates and couldn’t fault them.
