   We ordered a bottle of wine, 3 apps (croquetas/burrata/gyoza) 4 entrees (steak/grilled cheese/lamb chops). The food was all delicious but unfortunately the service was so bad it ruined the meal. We got there at 4pm on Sunday. There was 1 person and 4 of us. The entire restaurant was open and they sat us on a table that SHOULD NOT be a 4 top. By the time they brought us our waters and the bottle of wine, there was no room on the table for anything else. We had to put our appetizers on the corners of the table and put the wine bucket on the floor. My daughter ordered the grilled cheese as an entree with a side of fries. She specifically told the waitress to bring it out with the rest of the food. A few minutes later, guess what arrived. About seven minutes later my husband‘s pork chops arrived. And thirteen minutes later, after flagging down a waiter, our steaks arrived COLD and my daughter’s side of fries. At this point there were 12 people in the restaurant, including us. I continued to make eye contact with what I think was the manager. The waiter that had to tell them we were still missing food physically went up to him and spoke to him about it. Not once did he come to our table to check in on us or excuse the wait. Total was almost $300 with tip. I hope the service changes because like I said, the food was delicious, but I will not be back anytime soon.

   I like the place but they rush you. I hadn’t finished with my appetizer and they were coming to pick up my plate. This happened twice. I had to say hey I’m not finished. Also, corkage fee of $20 for a wine they sell you? Ridiculous. I could see it if it was a wine I brought myself so probably won’t go back.

   Visited The Grape Ape today … cannot express how great the food was - burger and steak were perfectly cooked to order / key lime- tres leche was amazing- and to top it off the service was GREAT !

   Food was great! Service still needs more work. We ordered a bottle of Wine and food. We got our good and had to ask for Wine glasses a few times before getting them. Also, once dessert got to the table, we had to ask for spoons. Food was great and the food recommendations from our waitress was really good.

   Had a reservation at 830 for 3 people and waited 30 minutes. However that time allowed us to take a nice look at the wine selection with help from the restaurant owner. Very friendly and helpful. Nice selection of moderately priced wines. Markups are very reasonable. Mostly Spanish (which makes sense, tapas), some Italian and good amount of French and USA (California) wines as well. Vibe was buzzing. Live music on a Wednesday night; place was packed. Service was friendly and food was good and well priced. I’d definitely go back. Happy to see a solid spot in South Miami. It was due. Corkage is $20.

   A beautiful evening celebrating with friends… great food, great wine, great times! Jason and Ingrid have established a wonderful space where gathering feels like a family celebration. Our favorite was the wine recommendation-excellent choice! The tapas-style food was a hit on every level. Everything is a “must try”. Daniella and team offered beyond amazing service! We looooved every minute of our dining experience here.
