   Very friendly welcoming staff. Good service. Able to talk as tables not too close. Nice atmosphere. Good drinks well presented. Excellent succulent food.

   We arrived a little early for our booking but it wasn’t a problem. We were greeted with warmth and a smile. We were there for Sunday lunch. Our order was taken promptly and we didn’t have to wait too long before it was served. We had a beef dinner and a pork belly dinner and both were delicious. We were well looked after by all the staff we interacted with and will definitely return.

   We will always help where we can and truly not a problem, we love our guests and will do what we can. Our roasts really are the traditional highlight of the week and our team love what they do which we believe is what makes our pub special. We look forward to the next time!

   We had a fantastic meal at the Grantchester Green Man. Prior to our meal, the pub were happy for us to drop off some table decorations beforehand and set them out before we arrived. The service and food were exceptional and really made the evening very special for us all. A beautiful setting for our celebratory meal.

   Lovely lunch on Easter Monday. Friendly atmosphere. The Mushroom and Chestnut soup was standout!

   Good food speedily served by pleasant waiting staff. Good beer and wine. Lovely garden and pretty village.

   Lovely place to eat for my husbands 60th birthday! Food is soooo good. We both had 3 courses and it was all fabulous. Staff we helpful and friendly. We will definitely recommend and return. The only down side is that you have to park on the street so could be difficult at busy times. Don't let it put you off though, the food makes up for all that.

   Ahh Joan we are delighted that we made your Husbands birthday we love to help celebrate here at GGM even though our singing is not the best! Pedro and our Team are just lovely and we are very proud of them. Our chefs make everything from scratch with love and we truly believe this show so for them also to be recognised we thank you.    Flawless from Start to Finish This place has absolutely nailed the dining experience. From the moment we stepped through the door, it was clear that the team here knows exactly what they’re doing. The service ran like clockwork—smooth, friendly, and professional in a way that only comes from real experience and passion. Melany looked after us and was amazing from start to finish. Super knowledgeable about the menu, full of great recommendations, and just made the whole evening feel easy and enjoyable. We followed his lead and ordered the steak special and the burger—and honestly, both were absolutely spot on. The steak was cooked to perfection, full of flavor and melt-in-your-mouth tender. And the burger? Easily one of the best we’ve had. Juicy, packed with flavor, with the perfect bun-to-meat ratio and crispy fries on the side that were just addictive. Every bite had us nodding in approval. Every course after that kept the standard sky high. From starters through to dessert, everything was done with care, attention, and a clear love for the food. Not a single detail was overlooked. Even the vibe in the room was perfect—great atmosphere, lighting just right, and music that added to the experience without being overbearing. You can really feel the thought and pride that’s gone into every part of this place. We couldn’t fault a single thing. Already planning our next visit—and next time, we’re bringing people with us.

   We enjoyed the Sunday roast at the Green Man. The seating was in a very comfortable covered area, but very light. The service was good except my wife was brought a pint of an alcoholic beer rather than non-alcoholic as she'd ordered, because she was driving. The vegetables, potatoes, parsnips, gravy and Yorkshire puddings were all very good. But my wife's pork was not pork belly as stated on the menu, and was very dry. My beef was too thinly slices, very well cooked and didn't have a lot of flavour. But, in all, and enjoyable Sunday pub lunch.

   Many thanks for your review. We apologise that you were served the incorrect Ghost Ship, I am sure you appreciate this was a genuine error. Should you have brought to our attention at the time that your meal was not to your full satisfaction then undoubtedly we would have resolved for you especially as Sundays are the highlight of our week.     Hi Peter, thanks for taking the time to leave a review, it would be good to know what you didn't enjoy as we pride ourselves on fresh food and as you can see from our other reviews this is definitely not the norm.
