Always great food. My favorite place on tge beach!
Birthday celebration. Food and service was fantastic. We all really enjoyed everything—From our cocktails, appetizers, entrees to dessert. And Randall, our server, was outstanding! We will not hesitate to come back on our next trip down.
The service was great. My steak was over cooked and tough. By the time a got my second steak my whole party had finished eating, and my second steak was tough. Rib eyes should be tender.
Many of the oysters (3 orders) were sandy tasting.
Caesar salad was sandy tasting
Phillip our waiter was fantastic ... the food was yummy 😋 The Grand Marlin NEVER DISAPPOINTS
The food and service were great. Nice pleasant brunch with out of town family members.
The food was good. No, very, very good! In fact, so good, we will return this weekend. If we lived here, we would likely go broke.
We were celebrating my friends' 60th birthday. The food was excellent... best Grouper I have ever had. Service was also very good. Next time we are in Pensacola we will definitely eat here again!
We came down to the beach for our anniversary and I was looking for a nice place to have dinner. When we arrived early for our reservation they were prepared to seat us right away. The waitress was great and the food was even better! Plus we had the most amazing complimentary dessert! Will definitely be going back next trip!
Awesome experience as always!!! Outstanding water views dining outdoors, exceptional service and fabulous food!!! This is our definite go to!!!
Awesome food and service
Really have missed Grand Marlin. Covid then a hurricane really threw a wrench in everyone's plans. This was our first dinner out in a year. Highly worth it, and Randal was fantastic! We will be back!
A very nice restaurant. Definitely a cut above other places at Pensacola Beach. Try the lobster fingers!
Enjoyable meal as always! My favorite place to eat during COVID.
This was our first visit. The food was delicious!
Great location and great food. View is amazing.
Food, value, waiter service was exceptional. Hostess was not at hostess stand and we had to find someone to seat us.
Dining on the outdoor deck is great. The chief’s recommendation was excellent.
Birthday dinner was amazing, thank for the wonderful experience as always!
We were poorly a kid e
Always a terrific night! Drinks, Oysters and dinner on point!
Old school seafood and steak joint with great food and service. We ate here twice in one week. Fish cooked to perfection.
It was my wife’s birthday. The staff that greeted us was friendly but seemed disorganized. We had to wait for over 15 minutes to be seated
Everything was exceptional!
Nikki is one of the best servers around. She seems to know what you want before you even ask for it. She helps you navigate the menu to make sure you get exactly what you want. On this particular day, a friend and I met up for a late lunch. We started with a dozen raw oysters, which we gobbled up in no time. I ordered the blackened fish tacos (over greens, instead of with tortillas), and my friend had the ahi tuna poke. We both cleaned our plates after sharing a bottle (maybe two) of a lovely French chardonnay over a four-hour session. Did I mention that everything was exceptional?
Dining at the bar at The Marlin is always a treat! On this occasion we got a visit by Matt who always wows us with his somm skills. Kelly was our server, and she was attentive and personable.
We started with a dozen raw oysters that were OVER THE TOP delicious, with no need for anything, but cracked pepper and some lemon juice.
My husband and I got the seared tuna feature, and we both could not remember a better meal (Granted we haven't been out much since the pandemic).
We can't wait to go back!
Lovely business linch with attentive but not obtrusive service.
In the past the shrimp has been perfect this last time was a little wet for lack of a better description. Don't know if meal was put to the side to serve the whole table but that was a little disappointing. Also prices have gone up for lunch which is another disappointment. I totally understand with the Covid situation but still would like the same crispy lightly battered shrimp for around $15 for lunch menu. The shrimp is my favorite of all time so I prefer how it has been cooked about a year ago- always consitant for years. One of my guests with me I believe had the lobster bisque and it looked more like a rue. I've not had it before so I'm not an expert but was disappointing. Basically a favorite restaurant though.
Always classy and delicious...great for a dress up night out and change from beach fare
My wife and I go there at least once a year to get our Scottish Salmon fix and this time, even with the COVID precautions, was just as good! Well done again, GM!
Great food and great service. It was busy since it was Valentine's Day but we didn't have to wait for anything.
it was great! The food was so good and amazing service
Made dinner reservations for Valentines 5 weeks in advance expecting to be in the main dining room. Arrived and was told we had seating in the casual dining area, then they moved to the overflow "party" room to appease us. No ambiance and very "cheap" feeling. Although the food and service was good, we were totally dissatisfied with our seating arrangement. We always thought of the Grand Marlin as an upscale restaurant, but now it seems to be a casual dining restaurant.
Madison was an amazing server. Very kind and helpful. The entree’s were terrible. We got the valentine special surf and turf. It came out cold and we sent it back. She asked if we wanted it heated up or remade. We said whatever the chef prefers hoping he would take pride and make it right. We got it back no more than 5 min later and it was still cold. And on top of that not much flavor. For how much we spent (over $160) we went home hungry and unsatisfied with our evening out. I never want to complain but this is the 4th time we have chosen Grand Marlin for our date night in the last 3 years and the last 3 times has been disappointing. Sorry to say but we won’t be back for another fancy date night here. We don’t get much alone time and I hate to waste it on bad food again.
Excellent food and ambiance
We’ve been going for years on special occasions like Mothers Day, Easter, Valentines Day, etc. The food quality has declined and for the price we expect more. The drinks are great and the service is always impeccable, but for the price and lack of taste it isn’t worth it.
Great restaurant with excellent food and service. Pricey but worth it! I would definitely recommend this restaurant!
Loved the red snapper and the praline basket for dessert can't be missed!
Valeentines Day dinner with my husband was u forgettable. He had the Swordfish, which was Unbelievable! I had the filet and lobster with capers on the side with a wonderful red wine suggested by our server. Our server was It’s was great
And their store was very nice. We bought pearls that will be admired for a lifetime! Every time I visit this restaurant, it is such a treat!
