Sunday brunch. Great value!
Brunch was phenomenal as usual
Very nice dining experience, excellent service and outstanding food
First time to the restaurant and we were not disappointed. We were seated quickly and the server was attentive right away. Drinks were well made and our dinner arrived in a timely manner. Food quality was outstanding and was reasonably priced. We will definitely make this one of our fine dining locations and we highly recommend.
We were celebrating our 20th anniversary and put that in our online reservation. We did this in hopes of getting a good seat.
Everything was wonderful, we had 2 apps, drinks, and each for our favorite menu item as our meal. We were enjoyed it as always. We always make TGM our place for birthdays and anniversaries and always bring our of town guests.
Our waiter brought us a dessert and wished us a happy anniversary. We were surprised by this and even more surprised to have it on our bill. I’m not sure how you can charge someone for something they didn’t order, but you did.
We didn’t say anything as we didn’t want to make a scene as we were having such a great time.
Just thought we should bring it to your attention.
What a great meal and service at The Grand Marlin on Friday evening (04/16).
The food was very well prepared. I had the seared snapper and my husband had the blackened grouper.
The service with Brittany was great. She was a delight and such a pleasure.
And the ambience and the setting was perfect!
This was a special occasion for us (our 50th wedding anniversary), and we felt special from the time we were seated until we left. The food was delicious, our waiter (Randall) was efficient, helpful, and friendly, and we even got a wonderful dessert to top off the evening.
Excellent seafood and superb service. We will visit again.
Our food was delicious and service was top notch will be back
Food selection impressive, fish all well prepared, attractive presentation.
I ordered a filet mignon medium well and got a ribeye rare! Needless to say after four attempts they finally got it right. My 50th birthday was April 14th it is one I will never forget! Beautiful facility. The best service this side of heaven and our waiter made sure my birthday was special by accommodating me for my meal. He didn’t have to do that. Thanks so much!
Made reservations with open table for 8 people. We arrived 10 mins before our time. We were sitting down for 45 mins waiting to get a table... No one ever came to check on us. We checked with them twice and they always said they were about to sit us down, but nothing happened.
Service at the table was worst. The lady will take 15 mins to come and only take pieces of the order. We were pretty much the only people left in the restaurant at the end of the night because it was so slow... Tables with big parties of 8 people sit down after us and left way before we did.
Terrible service, wouldn't recommend it
Great as always! We enjoyed grouper piccata and the chefs swordfish special. Both delicious. BBQ oyster app was so good. Crab cake was under cooked.
Consider ordering a bottle of wine here as their glass price vs bottle price markup is high.
Great food an
This is one of my favorite places to go. I found it several years ago and go back whenever I can. From the scenery to the food, this is the place to go. You won't be disappointed.
Such a good atmosphere to celebrate a special event. Our waiter was amazing and our food was delicious
It was my wife’s 36 birthday. We’ve probably lay celebrated 10 or more of those with you. This was by far the worst.
With a 5:45pm reservation on a Monday, we figured it would t. W too bad it usually isn’t. The hosted forgot about us until 6:45 and seated two walk-in parties before us. Then lied to us saying they were here before us. Not only did I see them one in, I asked them.
You see, we made a 5:45pm reservation because we had out 9month old daughter with us and typically this is a good time to be home before her bed time.
Outside of the canned response I haven’t been contacted by the company.
We sat with Ramon, who is usually very good but seemed weeded and service was incredibly slow.
The “new” risotto menu item was laughable and probably the worst risotto I have ever eaten. It was like it came from a cafeteria. Definitely not the $32 price with two scallops and two shrimp.
While makes as a birthday, it wasn’t even acknowledged. Not by the host not by the server.
The Grand Marlin is currently the only game in town It was pretty easy to get a reservation...being a whole week after Easter Break. It is a bit expensive, but the food was adequate. The service was good.. The cocktails were delicious!
Wonderful as always!
The Grouper Picata was exceptional. Enjoyed celebrating our anniversary here!
Nice dining experience with my daughter that I have not seen in several months
It was great! Our server was awesome and patient with our special requests.
Ramon is always so much fun! And outstanding service!!
A great experience all around. Wait staff, food and atmosphere.
It started out great, I was able to request location and everything - but even with noting that this was a special birthday celebration we were sat just inside the are we requested. From there the service was the same, started off great - and by the end we waited almost 20 minutes after being delivered the dessert for a check. The food was over priced and mediocre, my risotto was undercooked and my husband's tuna was overcooked. Both were underseasoned.
So Amazing! Had lobster fingers with vanilla bean honey mustard (100% amazing) raw oysters(very good) and red snapper lightly blackened per our waiters recommendation got creole mustard butter and also ginger soy glaze (prolly one of the best fish entree’s I’ve had-it’s that good!) Went to flounders chowder house and got the same fish-I gave them 2 stars and I’m giving Grand Marlin 5! :)))
Great as usual. Especially during these trying times.
We love The Grand Marlin, it’s our favorite spot in Pensacola Beach!
Excellent food, stingy serving. Main entree was small and hidden in large servings of sides. Service was slow, asked for bread and it was delivered as we finished meal, then charged $3 for two small pieces of toast. We sat in hottest possible place, corner table facing sun. Way overpriced for the food and experience. Not impressed. Save your money and go somewhere else.
As usual our experience was excellent. The food was delightful, we had some East Bay off ground oysters, outstanding. Our fish dishes were wonderful, they were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Service was friendly and professional, the staff was great. We will be back.
Family vacation and dining at our favorite restaurant in the area hands down!
We come here every time we are in Pensacola we highly recommend the grouper Picatta
Wonderful round table outside. Thank you!
There were problems in the kitchen and it took about 45 minutes after we were seated to get our food. Disappointing, as we have eaten here a number of times and this is not normally the case.
Love this place. Everything on the menu is wonderful.
Great Birthday experience
Delicious food.... gorgeous view....fantastic service!
Everything was wonderful. Truly enjoyed our dinner
We were on vacation, and it was our first time at The Grand Marlin. We sat in the open bar area and had a view of the water. Our server was excellent, friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. We didn’t wait long for food or drinks. Our dinners we delicious, and our desserts were really yummy. Great place!
