   Red snapper over a salad was outstanding. So were the raw oysters. Sat out on the deck. Server was knowledgeable & friendly. Great experience.

   In my 3 years in Pensacola, the Grand Marlin still is my favorite restaurant. Be it the food, chefs, or the very important wait staff. I know it will always be “the best”. Thank you for always exceeding my expectations.

   Prior patrons and there is a noticeable decrease in food quality. Grouper was under cooked and steak as well. Just not as good as usual. Might have been an off night.

    The Grand Marlin by far is my favorite restaurant in the area. Never disappointed with any meal. The barbecue oysters are my favorite! Outstanding!

    I’ve always enjoyed the dining experience at the Grand Marlin, especially the Sunday brunch. The jerked chicken and waffles were spot on but the French toast left a bit to be desired. It was undercooked and the berry compote consisted of six blueberries and one blackberry. I will not venture down the French toast path again but it was not enough to keep me away in the future.

    Atmosphere was good. The food was mediocre especially for the prices they charge. Honestly felt like I could have gotten the same thing somewhere else for much cheaper.

    The food and the service for our recent visit were over the top! Sarah handled our VERY particular lunch guest with amazing patience and humor. She is the BEST! Everyone was satisfied with lunch choices. We shared the lobster fingers to start. Between all of us, we had: shrimp cocktail, Ceaser salad with loved and rubbed salmon (requested rare, and cooked perfectly), chopped salad, and grouper piccata. Everyone was pleased and agreed: The Grand Marlin never disappoints!

    Food was a bit bland for the price. The hostesses weren’t the friendliest. I was brought the wrong meal; other party with me had already finished their food by the time I got mine. View was pretty. Entirely too much ice in my seafood Bloody Mary. I’ve never seen so much ice in a mixed drink.

    Our go to place for special occasions. Everything at the Grand Marlin is spot on! Our waitress made great recommendations. Martinis were cold and the food was hot. We were even given a complementary dessert to celebrate my 60th.

    First of all, the sunset was gorgeous, and we enjoyed it at a table by the window. The lobster finger app with the vanilla mustard sauce is insane. Fresh fish, especially the home town red snapper, is amazing. Caper or creole butter sauces are delicious. Feel free to order all of their sauces on the side. All the desserts are insane. If you are lucky enough to visit Pensacola Beach, you must dine at the Grand Marlin.

    Daniel was a great server. He was most interested in us having a great experience. He insured we had the right wine and discussed it at length. His details on the food was extensive and most helpful. Food was great!

    I was celebrating marriage anniversary and this was my 1st time here. I was with another couple who it was there 2nd time there. I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and ambiance. The food: It was good for the most part. I had ordered the Maine scallops. I expected to have at least 6 scallops, but was only given 4. that was a disappointment. My friend ordered the swordfish oreganigata and it was overcooked. We spent well over 300 dollars and well the experience fell short of expectations. it's a great place to eat and would come back i just hope the price you pay matches the food you get and not to overcook fish.

    We were greeted as we entered. Very professional young man who asked us where we would like to sit (inside or outside) and where in the dining room would best suit us. Everyone was very professional and polite. Our waiter was wonderful and made suggestions and pointed out the specials. He was very attentive as needed. The food was wonderful and was brought to us by a runner. Again the staff was very pleasant and professional.

    Awesome view, ambience and food but the service was absolutely terrific (Dave, Doug? - apologies). We had the special (swordfish) and the usuals - fried lobster sticks, tater tots, lobster bisque, oysters Rockefeller, blue cheese cover chips, and the smoked tuna spread. All the food was amazing. Great place to enjoy a great meal.

    When we walked inside the noise level was incredibly loud. I told my wife I felt like it was a cafeteria. We were expecting a nice quiet diner. Other than the noise the experience was good.

    My wife and I chose Grand Marlin for our thirty-third anniversary dinner and was it ever a great decision! I can honestly say that each and every facet of our evening was first rate. Our server, Thomas, was more than helpful in making our menu choices and providing us with first rate service. We have lived in Gulf Breeze for two and one half years now and can honestly say that our dinner was the best we've experienced during that time. We will definitely be back!

    Great food, great service, great ambience. Best restaurant in the Pensacola area that appeals to locals and visitors alike. It is our "go to" place for all special events, and we always take our out-of-town visitors here during their visit. Sunday Brunch is "top shelf." Best "eggs Benedict" and $2 breakfast drinks.
