    We ate here on Tuesday the 25th first and had the best meal ever !!! Grilled mahi-mahi and grouper piccata were excellent so we decided to come back on the 27th. We both got the caesar salad and it was delicious and huge. Husband got the tuna and it was melt in your mouth good. I got the grilled mahi-mahi again and was totally disappointed. It was overdone , dry and barely warm. We will be back though. Service both nights was awesome.

    Grand Marlin is one of our favorites! They seated us outside on the covered patio, which normally we love. The wind was very strong and they seated us right next to a "window". The wind was blowing everything off the table and when we asked them to lower the vinyl window cover, they informed us that they were broken. We were able to move tables which made it better. The food is always delicious at Marlin, but the drinks are way too expensive for the quality and amount you receive. We ordered a spicy margarita and there was NO spice and it was extremely tart....barely drinkable. Then I ordered a blackberry mojito (which is actually a martini) and there was hardly any alcohol in it and the amount in the drink is ridiculous for the cost. They need to improve their specialty drink menu as well as get some new bartenders!

    Great seafood, especially the shrimp cocktail. the shrimp is very fresh and the taste is wonderful. I had the seared red snapper which was perfectly cooked. Nice array of fresh seafood. Very nice cocktail menu.

    This restaurant is particularly about the view. The food is ok…remember, you’re going for the view….we had an attentive server, the bartenders were a bit short, drinks were good, we had oysters Rockefeller, calamari, lobster and the signature dessert. I specifically noted the special occasion in the app and my server wasn’t made aware and I had to request a candle for the birthday girl. All in all, we enjoyed our experience because we were together…nothing stood out as a “wow.” The menu has room for a lot more creativity. Thankfully, the chairs/tables are comfortable. Enjoy the view! Any day on the water is a good day…

    Great place for brunch that I hope nobody learns of, so that my wife and I can have all to ourselves. Seriously, it’s quality over quantity in the best possible way. You get upscale service and quality food with a view.

    We started my bd celebration with the BBQ shrimp. Yummy! My husband ordered the pompano special, and I had the blackened mahi. Both were excellent, but would have loved some bread to soak up all the good sauce!! Then a complimentary praline basket topped it off deliciously!

    Fantastic service from the moment we approached the hostess desk till the end of dinner. Autumn took excellent care of us and really knew the menu and ingredients. Food was phenomenal. We had crab cakes, lobster, tail, and tuna. Can't wait to visit again.

    Once again, our dining experience at The Grand Marlin at 730p on Wednesday, the 20th of September 2023 was superb!! We requested either table # 10 or 11 as we believe that those two seatings are the best in the house, at least for us. YMMV. My fellow diners enjoyed the Grouper Piccata, Honey Wasabi Yellowfin Tuna and one diner strayed off the ocean path and enjoyed a perfectly finish Filet Mignon. Each dish was accompanied with either wonderfully prepared whipped potatoes, grilled asparagus or sushi rice. Our wines by the glass were perfect accompaniment to each dish. Our server, Bianca, was very busy but she was always there when we needed her and was professional and personable, as were all the attending servers at our table. Do yourself a favor and make a res today at The Grand Marlin just over the bridge in Pensacola Beach. You’ll be glad you did. Tom and June S from TX

    We’ve been eating inside for the last few weeks and the noise in there is very overwhelming. It’s hard to have a quiet conversation at your table. Other than that, everything was wonderful! This is by far our favorite restaurant and we’ve been coming every week while we’re in town.  i’m even bringing a large group for a birthday celebration next week. !

    Had an amazing time here celebrating on our honeymoon. Seared snapper was delicious, especially with the crispy caper sauce. Lobster fingers had a great sauce with them also. The server Kayla was terrific and very attentive, with excellent suggestions. A bit noisy but a great time nonetheless.

    Dinner at The Grand Marlin was amazing. My husband had a crab cake appetizer. It was very good. I had the Grouper with lemon beurre blanc sauce. It was excellent. It came with Yukon mashed potatoes and I as able to switch out the creamed spinach for asparagus. Mark was our server and did a great job. Loved hearing the pop music from days gone by in the background. Very enjoyable evening.

    Disappointed in reservation process. Was told on arrival they were wiping down table and then waited about 20 minutes. Not too long but it doesn’t take 20 minutes to turn the table. Just be honest. Wait staff was wonderful, food excellent and a very nice restaurant. They do a nice job and we will go back. I highly recommend it. Just now that it is a very loud restaurant.

    I am lucky enough to go to the Grand Marlin frequently living at Pensacola Beach. And it never fails to be an excellent meal. The Red Snapper is by far the best in Northwest Florida.

    Hands down the Grand Marlin is the best seafood restaurant I have dined at, ever. Our server, Tiffany was prompt, attentive, courteous, and knew the details of the menu from front to back. My swordfish, and my wife’s scallops were Cooke to perfection. I also had an outstanding Dark and Stormy for a cocktail, very well prepared.

    Had the Grouper Piccata and it was outstanding.! I would highly recommend . Our server, Grayson, was attentive but not overbearing and had a cute personality that made him easy to tease with. If I had to choose a negative, it would be the noise level. My husband and I were there on a "date night" and the noise level sometimes made it hard to hear each other. Overall a very pleasant evening and we will go back agaon.

    Great as usual, Phillip took amazing care of us even though it was busy (he also is your go to if you have an event planned here, he is exceptionally good at larger parties and making sure everyone is happy) tonight I brought a colleague that was visiting from Houston because she wanted to be near the water and she absolutely love the grouper piccata.     It was good— but realistically, I paid $10 more for a smaller piece of fish than I got at Flounder’s the night before. I’m not sure if they were understaffed, but service was really slow our night. Our server was obviously really good at his job, but he had too much to do. It took 20 minutes to order, 15 to get our check, etc. overall, it wasn’t enough to dissuade us from giving it another shot, but for the price, it wasn’t the best experience in the island.
