    One and done for me. Our table was not set when we were seated. You charge fine dining prices that you put in the microwave. And still it was not hot. Melissa, our server, was very nice and professional.

    What a fabulous meal! Pur watress was so accommodating ! I had just started gluten free diet due to allergy and she talked to the chef and i was able to eat what i wanted on the menu, very nice and quite atmosphere and the food could not have been better!

    We were celebrating my husbands birthday. I was asked when making reservation of any special occasion. When arriving, no one mentioned it, & our waitress didn’t know either. I asked if anything special for birthdays…she sai, We can put a candle in your dessert. We didn’t order dessert. Not very classy not to give even a scoop of ice cream to acknowledge the event. Why even ask us what we’re celebrating. Not very upscale in this respect. Could have made a better impression. For the prices, you expect more attention to detail. Disappointing.

    Enjoyed the meal. Quiet when we arrived at 5:30; busy when we left at 7:00. Excellent Old Fashioned cocktails, nice selections of wine by the glass, terrific oyster appetizer. Food was excellent, although the gumbo and sides dishes to the duck were only warm, not hot. Service was good as our waiter had many tables to cover. Apple galette was wonderful. Very pleased with our dining experience.

    We are earlier at 5pm, and the decor and the food was fantastic. We both had drinks, appetizers, main course specials, and desserts. The portions were appropriate for the price and skill. Moreover, we received some lagniappe with the appetizer salad and with an entree, from the chef. The waitress was on the ball for food, dishes, changes, etc. We highly recommend.

    The food could’ve used more seasoning. The brunch gumbo was prepared well but lacked seasoning. Same for the eggs Benedict. Staff were attentive and timely, the food was just lacking in seasoning. Very nice atmosphere.

    Look here. I don't write reviews. I come to town from Texas with family. We are former New Orleanians. This restaurant is CONSISTENTLY OUTSTANDING! The food, people, service and the ambiance are superb. We have been there three times in two months (2 times for dinner, 1 time for brunch). If you don't go, you just missed out on a true gem. I am typically very critical of restaurants as we all adjust to this new normal. This one is great and worth every single penny!

    We had a great time. The services was understandably slow due to white linen night. The bar was slammed and things were backed up a bit. That said the food was great and probably the most innovative menu on the northshore at the moment.

    My wife and I did Friday night date night at The Gloriette. The food was delicious. Our server was great, but they were either under staffed or need additional servers to really accommodate everyone. There were long gaps in service to the table. Overall we really enjoyed our evening and will be adding The Gloriette to our restaurant rotation!

    Had a wonderful lunch with a friend. The restaurant was not busy at all, and we were able to converse without interruption. Morgan was very good servicing our table, and I thoroughly enjoyed my salad and pasta selection.

    Service, food and cocktails were excellent. Don’t order the pork chop….it was a little dry. The oyster appetizer was the best thing we ate. Nice atmosphere but a little noisy. That tile floor amplifies all the sounds. Def a little pricey so if you do cocktails, appetizers, main courses and dessert it’s easily over $150 a couple. But great experience overall.

    From appetizers to desert, everything was great. The server was knowledgeable of the menu and provided great recommendations. With staffing the way it is today, make sure you make a reservation and do not expect to be seated prior to your reservation time. We had no issues and you can always have a drink at the bar while you wait.

    Caroline started out attentive but then we all felt she then didn’t service well. There were 6 of us celebrating two birthdays - 4 had never been to Gloriette and my sister and I (the only two that had gone before) HIGHLY recommended to them. None of them plan to return which is really unfortunate. The restaurant was basically empty for lunch (two other tables ) which we all felt was due to the high prices and lack of service. When it came to dessert we had all decided and then we told you only had two available (maybe don’t give out the dessert menus and have server just tell us what’s available). Most restaurants (like upscale Del Porto ) give the birthday person(s) a complimentary dessert. Also we used our bread saucer for our appetizers because no plates were given and we used our coffee saucers for our desserts (which we all shared). It’s the “little” things that make a dining experience special. I’m sorry this happened because now I don’t plan to recommend any longer 😩.
