Great venue, good food, awesome team. Busy Friday but service was outstanding!

The food is always exquisite at the Girl & Bull and the staff are wonderful too!
As a regular, it is our very favourite place on the Peninsula.

Absolutely fabulous for service and food.
Went with four,for dinner,then,booked for lunch the next day to bring different friends.

We booked a table of 8 ladies for a birthday lunch.
5 ordered the duck & 3 of us ordered the beef cheek.
All 8 of us absolutely delighted with our meals.

Not much choice in lunch menu
But otherwise value for money.
It would have been nice to have something to eat with coffee at the end of the meal as we didn’t want dessert.

Always a great time at this restaurant. Great service, great location and the food was perfect.

Food wasn’t very good. Both dishes were lacking seasoning. Had to put a lot of salt on to make it more edable.

Food was excellent however would have been useful if the waitress had advised us that the French Onion Soup was a main course in itself. We ordered the soup followed by salmon (evening's specials) which was far too much food to eat.

Very enjoyable evening and very nice food. Service was excellent & we completely lost track of time as we felt so comfortable in the surrounds.

Had a great catch up with friends at G&TB over the weekend.
Beautiful host made sure we were always taken care of.

Mains were really good, however dessert was not acceptable being burnt, however they recognised my concern and removed it from the bill. A lesson learnt I believe so don't let that put you off as the staff were great.

Very disappointing meal and experience. Ambience and service was okay but food was not enjoyable. Calamari was pale and bland. Sauce with the mussels tasted like a can of tomato soup - little flavour. Batter on the soft shell crab was stodgy. Both my wife and I left half our food and felt quite sick that night.
To be fair, when we were asked if the meal was okay and when we said no, the waitress (host) offered to provide another plate but we didn’t feel like eating anymore at that point.
We won’t be returning in a hurry which is a shame because we’d like to support local business in Mount Eliza more.

First time visit after COVID for our anniversary and it was just as good as before.. excellent food

Always great service and delicious food, one of our favourite local spots

This is our second visit and both times we were delighted with everything. The menu is not too big but the food is delicious, well presented and there isn't a long wait. Last week I had the barramundi which was cooked to perfection. We both had a souffle for dessert and it is worth a visit just to sample the souffle!! Will definitely go again and would recommend it to friends.

Great place because it caters for all manner of diners, from families to couples.

Have never been to this restaurant before, went on a recommendation of someone else. My husband and I were celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary, so wanted somewhere special. The Girl and Bull was fabulous, the food was so delicious and a great varied menu. The service was great considering it was quite full, and all meals we saw go past all looked yummy! Will certainly be heading back here soon!

We had a great evening at Girl and Bull. The soft shell crab dish was amazing but the pork belly wasn't as good as we'd hoped. Service and staff were perfect and the place has a very nice and relaxing atmosphere.

I have been to the girl and bull previously and had an outstanding experience as the food was amazing and the friends I brought there thought so too. I went back last Saturday and took my other friends. Was so disappointed by the food. It was a completely difference experience to the first one. We ordered the lamb gnocchi and the beef. Firstly the gnocchi tasted like a lamb roast dinner mixed with gravy and gnocchi. We didn't even finish it as it lacked flavour and we thought it was a very strange dish to put on the menu. You normally think of gnocchi in either a red sauce or a creamy white sauce. This was like we were eating a roast lamb gravy all over it. My other 2 friends ordered the beef and it came with broccoli. We couldn't believe that the broccoli wasn't cut. The chef just plonked a huge quarter of a whole broccoli on the plate and it was just steamed. This dish also lacked flavour. To make it worse, the mains took quite a long time to come out.
In saying all of this, we ordered starters and dessert and they were brilliant so we dont understand how the chefs could get the mains so wrong. At the end of the night I advised the waitress about this when paying and she was so understanding and amazing. Her name was Steph. I'd like to say a huge thank you to her as she refunded 2 of the gnocchi dishes, one beef and some of the drinks. I will come back here again because I've had an amazing experience here previously and because the customer service was outstanding the last time, it just shows that you have hired amazing staff and you care about your customers. I will still be telling people about your restaurant and will see you again!

Nothing amazing but food was fine. Service was friendly. Menu wasn’t that impressive and there was heaps of dressing on the kids meal salad which I thought was strange.

Mikhala runs a well-oiled machine that attracts a lovely clientele to Mount Eliza's most happening bar and restaurant. Poppy is a phenomenal waitress who puts up with the loudest and boisterous crowds with a professionalism that's both charming and welcome at the right times.
Food is reliable and the atmosphere is friendly where you're bound to run into at least 10 people you know.

Great food and service as per usual. Menu has a good range for the family.
