Ordered 6 oyster appetizer, only got 5. When asked why waiter just said that was all they had left. Broasted fried chicken was way over cooked. Walleye dinner was good.

Our server was wonderful. We all chose different entrees and each one was so delicious. We sat outside where we could view the lake.

My friend ordered crabcakes and I ordered the ravioli, both were out of stock! We were kind of disappointed. My friend ordered coconut shrimp and she said it was the best that she’s ever had. It was served with a light sauce rather than a cocktail sauce, which really complimented the shrimp. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. There were five meatballs in a serving, which I thought was just tremendous. They were well seasoned and delicious. The red sauce was probably made with sun-dried tomatoes. That made it really rich and flavorful. The only downside was I didn’t care for the bread that was served with it, but that could just be me. I’ll go back there. The service was wonderful and the view was awesome.

Elegant dinning at its best. Great selection of spirits as well as a diversified menu. Great for the family. If weather is nice, make sure you ask for outside dining.

We celebrated an early Father’s Day dinner on Saturday night. We sat outdoors - beautiful lake views and listened to piano/ singer ( who sang Sinatra and Martin beautifully) . Service was great! Food was good and we will be back!

First time at The Getaway. Location is amazing. They were out of two of the three things we wanted, so that was disappoiting. What we ended up with was good. Service was great. They had live music on the patio, which overlooks the lake, that was a plesent surprise.

My steak was overcooked. My wife’s was cooked perfectly. Her Bearnaise sauce was broken. The menu was smeared with food. The table was sticky.
