   Good service, but food and drinks were average compared to alternatives.

   The food was pretty bland and the overall experience very underwhelming. We tried all the Sunday roasts and the beef was definitely better than the others. Stay away from the pork belly! The baked cheese was good and the cauliflower cheese had no salt or flavor.

   Was a fantastic experience- really good steaks with great sauces. Good value for money , pretty quiet for a Saturday 8pm

   A friendly classic pub. The upstairs dining room is where you want to go for a quieter environment. The food was good especially the whole grilled lemon sole and the service was very good and friendly. For a pub it seemed expensive but we did have two cocktails and two glasses of wine.

   As a group of 12 we were put in a small long room to ourselves, next to the main restaurant. But we have eaten in the main restaurant for lunch and found this to be quiet. But it should be reasonable on a crowded evening The waitress serving us was very helpful and although her English was very good she actually is French. There was no trouble in getting the overall bill divided by 12. This included the drinks in the main bar, downstairs

   Best roast I’ve ever had! Big portion, delicious meat, yummy potatoes, amazing gravy! We were in the dining area upstairs, which is very cozy and quiet nicely tucked away from the downstairs pub feel. Service was super attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend this place for a Sunday Roast and will definitely come back myself! Thanks team :)

   Probably the best meals of our lives till date. It was VERY good! The vegan curry and the mushroom soup was wonderful. My husbands fish & chips were delicious!

    We were the only table upstairs in the dining room so after hanging around for 10 minutes went to eat downstairs. Food was fine for the price.
