With beautiful surroundings, and a stylish interior, The George in Bromley is a classic meets modern pub, a perfect setting for any occasion. Our chefs take pride in preparing fresh, delicious tasting food using the finest ingredients. Signature dishes include spit-roasted chicken with lemon & garlic confit, slow cooked pork belly with seared scallops, salmon supreme served with thyme-roasted butternut squash, and our home-made British beef burger. For a lighter bite, our spiralised carrot salad and Mediterranean mezze are both delectable, or for some sweet indulgence our melting golden chocolate bomb with caramel ice cream is sure to please!

    The portion size of the roast beef was very sparse for the price. We came at 4:45 so maybe running out.

    Always excellent service and food. Hot plates and will accommodate slight changes to the menu, ie it is produced fresh and not pre bought in packaged

    I booked a Fathers Day meal for 4 through open table. We arrived on time but was told that they only had a booking for 2 people. Some disagreements later and a debate on who was right (I had a confirmation email showing 4 people), we eventually got seated in the bar area not in the main restaurant. There was obviously some issue between the open table and The George’s booking systems. It did mean that my kids ate very late and were getting very fed up with the amount of time we were there, which put a dampener on the whole experience. However the food was reasonably good and three courses for £23 felt good value.

    I have been before and enjoyed the food so much, had to go back again. Took my mum for her birthday and she said 'I could get used to this, food was really nice' and my mum is not easy to please.
