The Gate at The Murieta Inn will deliver a unique “farm-to-fork” dining experience, delighting guests staying at the hotel and adding vibrancy to Rancho Murieta’s dining scene. To create our seasonal menus, our Executive Culinary Team artfully utilizes produce from The Inn and Spa’s own Angel Wing Farm, a five acre farm and state-of-the-art greenhouse located on the property. Our Executive Culinary Team works with local ranchers and fisheries to source the restaurant’s meats, poultry and fish to complement the menu’s bright, hearty fare. The Gate will also feature a full bakery program with all of the hotel’s baked delights being crafted on-site.
The Gate beverage program features an extensive wine list, including selections from the nearby Amador and El Dorado wine country, a private bourbon collection and a variety of tap beers from the region’s vibrant craft beer scene. Our cocktails will feature premium spirits enhanced with fruits, flowers and botanicals from Angel Wing Farm.

Exceptionally prepared and presented dishes- as a local we very much appreciate having The Gate so close!! Our family's favorites include the shrimp cocktail, poke salad appetizer, the Caesar salad, really almost everything is excellent- and they have some superb specials!!

The BLT for lunch was delicious and plentiful. Best fries around. And the salad was more than just a lettuce salad as it was packed with tons of fresh vegetable slices. Services was relaxing and unobtrusive. A perfect outside lunch date

The food was fabulous! It's unfortunate that the wait staff doesn't match the quality of the meal itself, and the beautiful environment the venue has built. It took a long time to get help, waters were dry most the meal. Then because we were a party of 7 (mind you 2 were children), we got a 25% service charge!! I don't mind paying for a large party, if I get actual service. But with 2 kids and dry water cups I'm not exactly sure what I paid for. We even had a meal missing the entire time, which was brought after everyone else finished (you could tell the kitchen had it ready as the lettuce on the plate was wilted, it was just never brought to us). Kiddos to a great chef and great venue. But with service and fees like this I doubt I'll be back anytime soon

We very much enjoyed our dinner, our only comment was that the high top chairs were difficult to sit in at the bar and tables. Nice staff and good food.

Nice way to horsey vacay!! Just minutes from the equestrian center, the hotel and spa was a great place to rest in luxury after a fun filled day at the horse show. Loved it, will definitely be back.

Excellent food, beverages, service and ambience. Well made cocktails, nice reasonably priced wine list. Very nice menu choices, and well prepared and presented. Great service. Very comfortable dining room and patio. Really enjoyed my dinner experience. And I must add, the rooms and property are excellent too, along with nice staff!

I made a reservation twice this week for a high top table and both times I showed up to my table being given away and I was not called or notified. The food and the waiters were good.
