This restaurant is closed. They have been closed for awhile now. Their landlord locked them out for not paying rent. Why Open Table is still booking people here is beyond me …

To OpenTable: I have no idea why you accepted the reservation nor sent me this review. We traveled quite a distance to get to the restaurant only to find it shuddered with a note on the door saying it is permanently closed. Either the restaurant was negligent in not informing OpenTable or OpenTable was negligent in accepting the reservation. In any event, diners should save themselves the trip because the venue is non-existent as a restaurant.

My birthday dinner with friends I always enjoy my experience here. The pizza is always good, the salads, & most appetizers, not all but this night we enjoyed everything & the staff is always friendly & helpful with great service.

1st time trying and really wanted to like this place considering I am from New England and it got it's roots from Little Italy in Boston. The reviews were hit or miss, but had 4 stars on Yelp so we thought we would try. Was rather disappointed. Our first clue should have been that at 6:45PM on a Saturday night and only 1/3rd of the tables had guests. I got the Lobster roll, which I would not normally get in TX, but stated they get their lobster from Maine. It was OK, but clearly not all that fresh and I pulled four pieces of shell out while eating it. It was also $42 which is absolutely absurd. The most expensive lobster roll I have ever had was $35 and it was in Maine fresh out of the water and amazing. If you are going to charge that much it better be amazing and loaded. It was neither. I got a side Caesar salad that was literally some romaine and a sprinkle of parmesan cheese. If you are going for high end and charge those prices some nice homemade croutons would be nice. My girlfriend got a poached pear salad that I tried and quite frankly thought was disgusting. She also got the penne alla vodka dish and it was OK. Again, if you are going to mimic Little Italy in Boston you better have fresh, homemade pasta. The best thing was a small, but good selection of Cabernet's.

So much potential, but lacking good service. For example, last evening the restaurant wasn’t very busy, but we sat for 15 minutes before anyone even asked us if we wanted a glass of water. And when someone finally came, she mumbled that she wouldn’t be the one to take care of us, but that someone would come by. The food is good, and this location, the one on South Lamar, is convenient for us, so we will probably return, but this restaurant should up their game on service and professionalism.

The food and drinks were tasty. But the service was a little slow considering there was little to no people for most of our visit . Chill atmosphere, I would go again.

1. Had reservations, restaurant was not busy and still took 20 minutes to be seated. 2. Only gave us 3 menus for a table of 6. 3. Took 10 minutes for waitresses to bring water. 4. Ordered drinks, a few minutes later we ordered food. 5. 2 people got their food nearly immediately and the other 4 of us waited about 15 minutes for ours so their’s got cold. 6. Finally got our drinks when we were already done with our dinner. 7. After finishing dinner and our drinks it took another 15 minutes to get our checks. 8. Gratuity was included on our check and not communicated to us.

Terrific brunch option. I ordered the sausage and peppers, but they were out of sausage. I thought I was flexible about the meat, but I wouldn’t recommend corned beef as a great substitute. The dish was overall delicious and well prepared, but the seasoning in the corned beef argued with the rest of the dish. Next time they say they’re out, I’ll change my order. My husband had the Peroni battered fish sandwich with potatoes and his meal was perfection. We shared the fried potatoes and I’ve never tasted better. The musician on the patio was a fresh voice and added to our enjoyment.

Our waiter was great and was very knowledgeable about the food and prep. We had pizza, lobster roll, parma chicken sandwich, and a penne pasta dish, everything was great! The lobster roll was full of delicious lobster. Highly recommend. We will come again when we are in town. Great place to take the grandpuppy and listen to music outside.

Food and drinks tasted amazing. Our server Ash did not come to our table for about 45 minutes after ordering our drinks and the restaurant was completely empty. He brought the main course before the appetizer and ended up forgetting about bringing us the appetizer all together. I would totally dine here again for the amazing food and ambiance, but would need a different server.

I wish I had a better review, because usually we love this place. We were there for my Birthday. There were 8 of us. We sat outside. Arrived at 5:15. Happy hour was over at 6p. Our waitress greeted us and took our drink order and then didn't come back or serve drinks until 10 mins to 6p! Waters were never served. We had to ask for her to come back and take food order. When she finally came back we tried to order appetizers. She quickly got overwhelmed and then never came back! We had to ask for another server. 6p came and went and we didn't get our drinks or food. We had to ask for someone to come to our table again! Eventually a manager came over to help. Food was good but the service was beyond bad this time.

Reservation was ready and easy to get seated. Food took forever to come out, it was cold when we got it. Staff was confused on what order was ours and took a plate from our table then served it to another person (which shouldn’t have been done — Unsanitary). afterwards they told us they no longer had lobster (maybe 30+ mins after we ordered and waited— told us to order something else) and later said they did haha it. Overall they were very confused on orders. Crab cakes were also very salty which made them unenjoyable.

We enjoyed a nice evening outside where we dined on cocktails, wine, charcuterie board and potatoes. Everything was delish and we were both impressed. Def will be going back and recommend this restaurant! Thank you Gracie for taking good care of us.

There was hardly anyone there but the food took forever. Our waiter didn’t check on us consistently either. When the food came, it turns out we had essentially duplicated an order but he neglected to tell us that. Food was bland. Atmosphere was nice as the outdoor seating was beautiful this time of year but would not visit again.

We decided to dine here not knowing they had brunch. I’m new to Austin and love finding spots to dine and have a cocktail. The place has the type of vibe I love. Simple design, clean and modern. Service was great. The food even better. We came for the lobster roll but they were out so we had other dishes. I had the crab cakes eggs bendice which was delectable. He had the salmon sandwich which he enjoyed for drinks we had the expresso martini which was delicious. We will definitely be back maybe for an evening date.

Had to check this place out because of the good reviews however I’m here to write a bad one. The food was not good at all. We went out for Valentine’s Day but I think we could have made a better meal at home. The lobster bisque was so watery, rigatoni pasta was missing salt and garlic, the sciliano sandwich was so dry and the aioli sauce tasted like what I imagine boys gym socks to taste like. All in all, horrible food. The staff looked like they were scrambling so maybe they had a waitstaff making the food. I would NOT recommend!

Our reservation was at 8:30pm. We felt rushed the whole time. The staff was non existent. I get it was 30 minutes before they close, but don’t take a reservation if you don’t plan on giving good customer service. This was a Monday before Valentine’s Day.

Our appetizers were delicious! We had the shishito peppers and brussel sprouts. However, our main dishes were not as good. A few of us ordered the fettuccine with lobster and had to ask for salt and cheese because the dish had zero flavor whatsoever. Our waiter also forgot one persons order and took another girls order down completely wrong. It was a very meh experience and meal.
