Great view and fountain. Nice atmosphere and beautiful garden. Food was just ok. Don't order the crepes, came cold and not fresh.
We Had a great date night. Thanks!
Very mediocre food and meh service. Nice ambiance though
Great place for a date, the dining area is outdoors and spread out for social distancing, there are umbrella's for shade and you are surrounded by the garden. The service was amazing and the food was great as well!
Beautiful setting and ambience. Plenty of distance between tables. Salmon salad was delicious. Will definitely go back!
Highly recommend! Seating is not that comfortable!
The food was very basic and bland but the atmosphere made up for it.
Had an awesome experience would like to visit next summer again.
birthday celebration very nice in every way. the food was very good quality and plentiful. lovely garden area, well spaced but could use a few more umbrellas for shade.
The Gardens were absolutely stunning. The staff were extremely attentive and helpful despite the COVID measures. Obviously it is weather permitting and if you don't like fresh air and sun, it might not be the best place. On the other hand, if you do enjoy the sun and cocktails and tasty food this is such a comfortable and inviting environment. The beautiful views of the castle as the sun sets to the west behind the trees, providing a golden hue to the beautiful flowers and tower buildings makes for a wonderful backdrop to an afternoon well spent smelling the roses - or sippin' the rosé...
Such a beautiful way to dine outside. It’s magical. The food was ok but the views were what we came for.
Only suggestion is that once the sun goes down it’s very dark. They could improve the dining experience by adding some string lights so you can actually see what you are eating and the wait staff could see what they are doing.
Other than that it was a nice experience and I would recommend
A beautiful environment - very peaceful and welcoming. Great staff as well - attentive and respectful towards safety protocols. Food was decent, but elevated by the entire experience.
It’s just beautiful there . Flowers , fountains and green. It’s transporting.
The food is just ok. My salmon was extremely dry.
Hire professional chefs . Food coming out of kitchen not made by pros.
Wait staff not attentive I had to walk up 3 time’s to a tent to get table setting, more water and a check. Waitress needs to make the rounds more or hire more staff.
Go for a drink , take a pic and order the chummus dip , skip dinner .
Great place to dine for a special occasion, however, the hosts kept lying,
Over the phone or online they said no reservation, first come first serve, then when you get there and there are many tables and they say it is all reserved. Howcome you ask, they say oh they friends with the owner of the Casa Loma.
What an amazing experience. Lovely grounds. Dinner was wonderful.
Ambiance and views worth the visit. Food is average. Staff pleasant. There were wasps which were annoying.
Beautiful place, good service and decent prices for the experience.
A fun evening, when nothing right now seems very fun! Lovely to sit outside, without a mask, in a beautiful garden. One of the summer’s best kept secrets in the city❤️
What a beautiful setting! The beauty and grandeur of Casa Loma as a backdrop to our patio experience can’t be beat. Staff were attentive and available. Fish and chips were excellent, the cod was moist and tasty, the chips fresh and crisp. Falafel balls, though firm on the outside and soft on the inside, as expected, were overly dense. If you want a bonus peek at the inside of the castle, do ask to use the indoor washrooms. You’ll be escorted past Sir Henry Pellat’s library, with original books still in place, and conservatory, as well as the dining room where many dinner parties were held. Be prepared for dining in direct sunlight, as shade only appears late evening as the sun moves behind the castle. However, beach-sized umbrellas are available on request. A most enjoyable patio dining experience!
Such a beautiful place!
Great value for food. Great photo ops. Wish they could have waived parking cost.
A date night outside seating was cancelled. We had to stay in the tent. After we ordered our food we were told the kitchen was closed. Due to the weather we didn’t have a good experience at the garden.
Very nice experience. The place is very well arranged and neat. All staff were very friendly and they have gone above and beyond to serve us well. Definitely recommend it
The appetizers were great but the hamburger for main course was blunt. The burger should have been so much better.
Food is a bit overpriced but that’s to be expected. It tasted a lot better than I had expected.
Beautiful scenery, nice and welcoming staff. Highly recommend!
Great! Would go there again for sure
Nothing really exciting on the menu. Not having a band is understandable during this time but why not have music. If they did have it was difficult to hear where we were seated. The secret Garden could use some work and I think they should warn you that it's a steep climb at the end to get out.
Beautiful spot, average food and service
Our daughters night before nuptials...a very special evening to celebrate. Location...memorable. Setting exquisite! Food... pretty good but not as special. Service very good!
Such an amazing restaurant and environment! Highly recommend!
Think it excessive to pay $15 to park when you have a confimed dinner reservation.
One entree not satisfactory but after mentioning it to our nice server no other response.
it was my first time visiting Castle Loma and eating at The Garden. The ambiance was spectacular and the food was amazing. We went there to celebrate out 25th wedding anniversary..it was memorable. All the portions were great and there was just enough selection. our server recommended that we go to the secret garden after dinner...very enjoyable. Will definitely go again!!
I read reviews before visiting. One review said that they asked for an umbrella but were refused. They also asked for another table and got refused. and after a while they saw some other people got moved from their place because of the sun. Same thing happened to us. We were moved to another table though. Me and my boyfriend both are coloured people. The server and the people who got umbrella, were white. Just saying what we thought the reason could be behind this. Otherwise, food could have been more than a street food. But the quality was good. I would recommend sangria, if you like it.
The food was OK but I feel like it didn’t really match the ambiance of the place. The service was kind of off because we were seated near or like so many bugs beside the grass and it was really annoying but they couldn’t move us Although another couple came in right after us and a server moved them to a different table without them even having to ask. Anyways other than the bugs constantly trying to get out our food I didn’t really care for the flavours and I don’t think I would dine in here again but I would come for like the ambiance or Casaloma itself. And our servers were really nice and respectful so you could always expect good service but I just think their menu is subpar or maybe the kitchen was off today I’m not sure it was my first time.
Worth it for the fact that you are looking at the CN tower and a castle at the same time. Lots of veggie options
The food was great but took a really long time for it to get to our table. Our reservation was at 6pm and we didn’t get the food until 7:20pm. Watched others come and go as we waited.
Your sole purpose for coming should be for the views and ambiance of the place. It’s truly beautiful. However, I did find the food to be underwhelming but luckily not the most expensive place. Perhaps it was because I was in The Gardens, the Steakhouse did look a lot more appetizing.
The ambience and the views were great. The food and service was average. Servers forgot to give cutleries. The wait for the food and drink was long. I would go again but only for the views.
Pleasant outdoor space , good service , reasonable menu.
