I have always loved dining at the Front Porch but this last visit was disappointing. My quiche was burnt and tasted old .My friends crabcake sandwich wasn't good. The roll was stale and not even toasted. A step down from previous visits. I am hoping it as just a bad day and will improve to be the fine restaurant it always was.
Delicious food, but portions seemed small and the salad would have been better with more toppings like cucumber, more than two cherry tomatoes, onion, croutons, etc.
Service was exemplary and the food was delicious.
Great place to gather or to have a date night.
Our waitress must have had too many tables because it took her a while to get back to us between visits. My dining partner's drink did not come until way into the dinner, then it was missing the lemon. The lemon came as were finishing. My dinner came out wrong. Frustrating for the cost.
Great choices on menu. Delicious food. Must get the hamburger, which is excellent. Bread pudding is decadent.
Great dinner outside on the porch with a beautiful sunset!
Food was excellent, came out very fast with decent proportions. Near the end of the meal we felt a bit abandoned by our server, but it was 70 and Sunny out so we didn’t suffer too badly. At $130 after tip it felt a bit steep for what we got and the quality of the food
The staff was amazing. My dog, Piper, was treated like a Queen.
It was amazing! Our server was great and so friendly. We weren’t crowded with other people. It was a great anniversary. Still a little bummed that they were out of cheesecake, but the fantastic wine made up for it!
Had reservations for Sunday Brunch, fairly early enough to beat the crowds. Received no silverware from host, did receive burnt biscuits with Biscuits and Sausage Gravy order, no maple aioli in Open Faced Breakfast Sandwich and both meals came with “Breakfast Potatoes” as written on the menu. Little did we know that what The Front Porch calls “Breakfast Potatoes” the rest of the world calls tater tots! Just like the kind you find the the freezer section of your local grocer and make at home! Our waitress was super nice and friendly...certainly the saving grace of our meal!
Perfect outside dining for Easter brunch with our toddler. Crab Benedict and chicken and waffles were excellent!
Always a great experience coming to The Front Porch. Really good food, always fresh and great service. Worth the visit if you haven’t been here.
We had an excellent brunch experience. Our server Bonnie was wonderful and our food was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed everything. Great way to spend a Sunday ☺️
Wonderful food and atmosphere!
Dinner was great and overall the experience was fantastic, but it was annoying that we specifically made plans to come and sit outside because of the nice weather and they sat us inside with no explanation as to why they couldn’t accommodate our reservation request. It was overly warm inside and our poor waitress was dripping in sweat.
Generally disappointing, don’t have the ingredients for the drinks they have advertised. No hostess or instruction on where to go. The hostess seemed to be inside and when we asked her, she said someone else was outside. There was no one else.
They don’t give you crayons for kids outside because they might melt. Okay.
Generally slow and disappointing. COVID distance requirements clearly not in effect. We had folks super close to us. Very uncomfortable.
Food itself was meh. They overcooked my wife’s steak, and I’ve had better gyros at crappy mall stalls.
They remade the wife’s steak which was nice, but overall the food was poor quality, the service was poor quality, and I’m generally sad we stayed after we had so many red flags. I might be willing to come back and give it another shot, if I get a refund first.
The service and atmosphere was great, so I'd give it another try; I had the french toast with eggs, sausage, and tater tots. Should not have ordered the cheese on top--thought I'd try it since it was offered, but it didn't work for me. The french toast that was completely cooked tasted good, and the eggs over-easy were great! The sausage patties... don't know how they were seasoned, but they smelled and tasted bad. Couldn't eat them. I'll try something else on the menu next time.
Brunch was very good service was quick. Will go back.
Disappointed is an understatement. Watched the young man who was our host clean a table off and then put his fingers down 3 water glasses and put them on the table for a new party. He did not clean his hands in between and I could physically see the finger prints he left on the inside of the glasses from my table. That table drunk from this glasses and could have gotten an infection from him because the cloth used to wipe the tables was filthy. In addition, our food was a joke. Being told there wasn’t fried green tomatoes or breakfast potatoes and being served freezer bag tater tots is not acceptable when you are supposed to be a “nicer” restaurant. Also, thrown off by what clearly was Kraft singles put on our plate for cheese and the joke of a fruit cup makes it very hard for me to come back.
This was our first brunch at The Front Porch. We went and enjoyed the St. Pat's themed pancakes, the salad w/salmon, the cinnamon french toast sandwich, and the quiche/salad. All the food was spectacular. I was a little disappointed with the service as it took a while to get our check but that was a very minor issue. You could also say that the server left us to relax and not hurry. I think some background music would be nice in the upstairs space. I don't remember hearing any and due to that, we could hear conversations around us. If it had not been such a blustery day, I'd have made a reservation to sit outside as the atmosphere on the porch is much better. The bathrooms needed to be cleaned or spruced up considering it was only 11am. It seemed like they had not been cleaned since the day before perhaps. We will still go back! But, the space and service could use a little "polish."
I love this restaurant. I wish I lived closer to come more often.
As usual, we weren't disappointed. I've eaten there before and always enjoy the food and drinks. This visit was for brunch and it was delicious.
Food and service was excellent! Maybe to quiet for us but no big deal
Cream of f crab soup was thin and tasteless. Flank steak gyro was over cooked. Front porch salad was lackluster v
Wonderful atmosphere and food! Highly recommend this restaurant!
Our first indoor dining experience since last March. Felt very comfortable. Food is delicious! Chef was willing to make sure my meal was gluten free. Definitely recommend!
The food was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed the crab dip, scallop risotto, fried green tomatoes. We were seated in a timey manner and our waitress was excellent. We are hoping to go back soon!
Nice quiet evening with good food and friends. Very pleasant wait staff
Our waitress was very friendly and provided good serve. The food was good. My friend said her turkey was “stringy”. I had salmon and it was salty but very good otherwise. Cooked perfectly.
Cranberry walnut salad with grilled salmon is the Best !!
Beautiful rooms and the brussel sprouts were amazing!! Will definitely go back
Food and service are always great. Very pleasant atmosphere and staff. One of my favorite eating spots.
The service was wonderful! Thank you for letting us take our time and have a nice chat over a wonderful lunch.
This was the first time I have been to The Front Porch in a long time and I wasn't disappointed. Everything was great. That may have a lot to do with my companion but still we had a wonderful time.
We went for Valentines Day, thought it was for linner 3 pm to our surprise is was only brunch on Sunday. Oh well no big deal we were happy to be out. Seated right by the fireplace which was great. Limited menu with mimosas that were very good.! I Ordered chicken and waffles with fried green tomatoes that I have had before and I enjoy. Wife got open faced French toast sandwich. The French toast was good and it is topped with sausage and scrambled eggs and cheese. To our surprise and seems really cheap for an upscale place the cheese was two slices of velveta cheese! Can’t charge top dollar for essentially breakfast and put fake cheese on it! Again happy to get out will stick to dinner at the porch from now on.
We went there for Valentine’s Day
Outstanding food and service!
More people than I thought would be there were there but not an uncomfortable amount. Delicious soup and salad. It was nice to get out.
My partner and I recently celebrated our 8 year anniversary at The Front Porch and, as always, it was a perfect night. The staff was sweet and it wasn't too busy or crowded so we were able to sit and enjoy the night without feeling rushed. He ordered the steak and I ordered the pork shank, both were perfection; as were the cocktails, the bruschetta, and both the regular and chocolate crème brulee. Very sanitary, very warm and welcoming, and very much worth the price; if you want a nice night out on the town, and aren't afraid to spend a little more than at a chain, the Front Porch is for you. -Nicole
