   The menu accentuated the flavors of every ingredient. Chef Adam Handling is attempting to draw out an essence of each key ingredient, almost like a fine sushi chef does in omakase. You can see why there is a page devoted to sake in the voluminous wine list. One aspect that could enhance the experience is that the second chicken dish has a card telling the diner a brief story for context. That should come prior to the first chicken dish (the previous course), or there should be more contextual cards throughout the meal. Overall, a fun and filling experience.

   Overall this was a most enjoyable meal. I was celebrating a belated birthday and great attention was given by the staff to help in this regard- little touches like a signed card from Adam and the staff, and an edible birthday candle. Food was excellent - at times with challenging flavours (lovage emulsion and truffle honey, for example) but that’s probably just my personal taste. My partner is cheese ‘phobic’ and they managed to bypass this with ease, even providing a cheese course without cheese! My only slight whinge was regarding the temperature of the food - I watched the plates for our lamb dish being dressed for possibly 5-10 minutes before ‘service’ was called and unsurprisingly, elements of the dish were cold before I finished the plate. I pointed this out to staff as an observation rather than a complaint. The wine pairings were interesting and well chosen. In all respects, this is a fine restaurant worthy of its Michelin star and given the work involved, represents good value for money.

   I treated myself to an unforgettable 8-course tasting menu !! it was a true culinary journey. And if you're thinking of going solo : do it !! The staff is beyond amazing, the service is top-tier, and they make you feel completely welcome. Perfect spot to celebrate yourself. Huge thanks to the whole team for making it so special

   Excellent experience, stunning food, amazing wine pairing and great service. All enhanced by sitting at the pass and seeing the chef and team in action.

   My favourite fine dining experience so far. Close to every single course in 13 course menu was outstanding and service was a delight as well.

    Had the most incredible meal. We all had the tasting menu which was wonderful. Every single course was beautiful to look at and tasted delicious. Our favourites were the mushroom tart with the mushroom consommé, the cheese donuts, and the cod which was sublime. The cheese with Bakewell tart and truffled warm honey was incredible too. All the staff were so knowledgeable and friendly and meeting Adam Handling was a privilege. Thank you all for a wonderful experience.
