   Food was amazing. Was seated in the bar area first. Thought this strange since we said we were celebrating. Upon request we did get moved to a room with an extremely large, boisterous party. Expected something more refined.

   First time dining at The Fountain Room. Hans was our server and he was great—personable, informative, attentive. We had the Brie brûlée, which was beyond delicious… it was such an interesting take on a Brie appetizer. I would recommend it anytime someone goes. I’ve never had anything quite like it, yet the familiarity of the Brie flavor with the brûlée just made for such an unique appetizer experience. One of their specials this evening was an Oscar style NY Strip with scallops and lobster—so good! We wanted to order dessert but we were so full! Next time we’ll stop in for drinks and dessert so that we can experience the whole menu. 10/10 would recommend. Make a reservation. You won’t regret it!

   The whole team at the Fountain Room is incredible. The steaks are fantastic along with the wine pairing. Zachariah had the best recommendations and superior service. Nicola gave us great wine recommendations for our steaks as well as a lesson from her sommelier certification. It was a great anniversary dinner and one to remember.

   Interesting upscale place, in a hip location, with overpriced drinks and underwhelming food. Husband’s Steak was prepared right, so that was good, and the only dish worth the price. Pasta was meh. Appetizers just okay. Not great. Service was prompt and friendly and the people working there are the saving grace of this place. I would consider going back but it’s not on top of my list for downtown. We made reservations well in advance and got a crappy high top table in the most high traffic area between the bar and host stand at the intersection of the main entrance and restroom, where people were walking by continually to to restrooms and lots of hustle and bustle w/servers and food runners. Would have preferred a booth or low table in a quieter area with reservations made days in advance rather we got the worst table in the house. The interior design is dizzying. There are some fun and quirky design choices, but too much mixed styles going on. Not a deal breaker but as a designer myself, I think the extreme mix of styles were a bit tacky, too much.

   Steak tartare was a grey color and the egg yolk was crusty as if it had been sitting out for a while. Had no flavour. Prime Rib no flavour and over cooked. Way over priced for the quality of food.

    It was our first time visiting and we really enjoyed it! We were celebrating our engagement with four of our closest friends. The card signed by some employees was a beautiful touch, considering it had to have been put together just moments before we walked in the building. Definitely will return!

    A really nice setting diminished by the mediocre, at best (poor), food. We've visited the Fountain Room for dinner and lunch over the last 3 weeks and both times the food was generally terrible (we won't be back). Again, great location and the interior setting is very pleasant but the food was borderline inedible. We would recommend avoiding the Fountain Room.

    Steaks are priced too high for value. Overcooked so if you want medium rare try ordering rare lol. Not super cozy for a place that’s supposed to have a supper club vibe. Brussels were good. Crab cake special mostly filler and way overpriced - shrimp cocktail is probably the better choice. Overall it was just “meh” and for the price I’d rather be at Vida or Geraldine’s. They were very nice though I would totally go back for drinks and maybe apps and dessert.

    Met my friend for an early dinner and ordered the caesar salad with fried chicken... delicious! Our server recommended the Lobster Rangoons as an appetizer and I was thrilled with their tase. This art deco-inspired establishment is a repeat for sure. One small thing, Apple Maps might direct you further southwest, closer to Ralston's Drafthouse, but don't fret and just keep straight. The Fountain Room is directly across from Bottleworks!

    Everything was excellent. The icing on the cake was how Chris, the manager helped us out when we were ready to leave. My Uber ap wasn't working for some unknown reason so I asked Chris if he could call a cab for us. Apparently taxis are not reliable in Indianapolis so Chris offered to order an Uber for us which saved us a bunch of time. Very much appreciated. We will definitely be back.

    First time here and it did not disappoint! The pistachio encrusted salmon was delightful and my husband loved the wagyu meatloaf! Had the lobster rangoon for appetizer and it was delicious! Felicia was our server and she was super attentive and friendly. We will definitely return!

    My wife and I went out for our anniv and thought we would try this out. The food was ok- my wife's steak was not pink and burnt. For the price point, we could have went other places and still spent less. The food was just ok nothing exciting or made me say I want to go back. We were under a speaker and noise level could be less when having a conversation. The ambience is nice with watching the people. I thought we would have a nice note about your anniv but nothing at all. I will take my money somewhere else.

    I went here for dinner Sep 2022. The place is very cute and super nice, but the food was lacking. I ordered a cocktail for dinner, but it did not taste right. I waited was very accommodating and substituted it for a glass of wine. The food was so so. The best part about dinner was the appetizer and that was a cheese spread… :/ Decided to try the restaurant again for Mother’s Day brunch May 2023. Again, not the best experience. Everything part of the buffet was cold. The eggs were clumped up and looked slightly green. Not good for $40 each. The waiter allowed us to switch by ordering off the menu, but nothing really stuck out to be delicious and appetizing. Very unfortunate experience. Will not be back. Very sad because the restaurant is super cute. They just need some help in the cocktail and food areas to make the restaurant so much better. As of now, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

    Ran out of coffee at 1030 for Mother’s Day brunch. Have been for dinner before and had a very good experience but brunch was underwhelming. Cocktails were really good though!!

    Service was amazing and restaurant is beautiful but the food was terrible. The fries and smoked old fashioned were good but that’s it. Our medium ribeye was tough and very salty. The tuna was bland and the rice (?) underneath was tasteless and mushy. The salmon was cooked perfectly but was nothing fantastic. The apple cobbler had no streusel or cake topping at all; it was only lukewarm, undercooked, crunchy apples in cinnamon sugar sauce topped with vanilla ice cream. Not cobbler. Edible but very underwhelming overall.

    I would not say the noise level was energetic. It was very loud. Beautiful space. Food was adequate but way over priced for what it is. Not necessarily different than other similar type places, but not worth the price tag. Would consider returning but only for drinks.

    Waiter was not well versed on menu or drinks. Ordered tuna so spicy couldn’t hardly eat it. 50 dollar piece of prime rib and it didn’t been come with a scoop of mashed potatoes or anything. Seated in bar area it was soo loud..

    Great first time experience at this restaurant, love to try new places and this one didn’t disappoint. Great setting, excellent service and the food was delicious. On the expensive side for sure but with it if you like a too notch dinner evening out. Will be back!
