   The salads are wonderful and generous. The cocktails are delicious. The pizza is the best I’ve had since moving here from the East Coast in 1974. The cheese and sauce are EXACTLY the same flavor as New Haven, Connecticut pizza. Not Frank Pepe’s…much better.

   We’ve been here a few times and it never disappoints. The service is friendly and the food delicious. The pizza crust is just how I like it; thin and crispy. They’ve got some creative, artisan pizzas on the menu or you can build your own. Salads and sides are good. Love the green beans. Eat them like French fries with your choice of dipping sauces. They also have a nice cocktail menu. I highly recommend.

    We had a 6:00 reservation but got there about 30 minutes early and they were kind enough to seat us. Our server attended to us right away and our food was delicious. If we vacation in the area again, we would definitely go back

    Great pizza, fold sandwiches not so much, they are more like a wrap and heavy on cheese, which is nice but the got very rubbery quickly. No kids meals or options 🙁 not so good for little kids.

    We made reservations and had a wonderful dinner. However, we have walked into this pizza parlor without a reservation, several times in the past, and were treated rudely by the staff. They were exasperated that they had to find a table for someone without a reservation. And it was like they were doing us a HUGE favor by letting us come in. So verdict is still out.

    We've eaten there several times and have also gotten take-out pizza a few times, and it's always good, as are the beverages. Recently, we took friends from the Portland area, and they loved it. The only complaints we have are that it's ALWAYS cold in there. This time I remembered and wore a warm jacket, but it was still cold. The other complaint is the metal chairs/stools. When it's cold, sitting on cold, metal chairs makes it worse. This time, I asked to sit along the wall on a cushioned bench. Also, the tables were not all full, but the noise level was SO LOUD that I had to speak up when talking to the person across the table from me. Maybe turn down the music when large groups come in and the noise ramps up?

    Love The Fold and look forward to returning next time we are in Sunriver. The juke box thingy took a long time to play our songs, but that's minor and not a complaint. Service was excellent as well as ALL the food we ordered. Loved it!

    Food and service was amazing. The pricing is fair for what you get. We could do without the high tables; they just aren’t as comfy but it didn’t take away from the experience.

    Our server was was awesome. Our pizza was beyond dreadful. The Caesar salad was good, but it wasn’t a Caesar salad. The metal chairs are little torture devices after a day of skiing. The credit card and deposit required to make a reservation is kind of a joke, as the restaurant was nearly empty. They will need to up their game to survive.

    It may be unfair but this review is for two visits to Fold as we were there on two occasions within the same week. Oddly, our experiences varied dramatically -- hence, the middle of the road ratings. On the first occasion, everything was great -- service, food, etc. On that occasion, we were walk-in guests. On the second occasion, we used OpenTable for our reservation. We were seated slightly later than planned but we were okay with that. The waitress was not especially quick in greeting us but seemed efficient and knowledgeable. But from there, things declined. Once our order was taken, drinks arrived reasonably fast but then we seemed to be forgotten. We ordered a salad first and that arrived reasonably fast. Our hot food took forever though and when it showed up, it was cold and clearly had been sitting out somewhere for quite a while. During the wait, the waitress never reappeared. Drinks were emptied and would have been re-ordered but there was no opportunity even though she stopped at the two tables on either side of us. We couldn't get her attention though. So.....overall, one might have an excellent experience or a horrible one. It's really hard to know!

    The pepperoni pizza was extremely greesy, the Sweet Cheesus was watery onto (mixture of greesy and mushy tomatoes) the Brussel sprouts weren't even hot and they were out of 1/3 of their menu before 5 on a Wednesday. The server, although nice, never came back after the food was served and not until she brought the check so not much could be done to fix the food issues.

    Unfortunately this restaurant is very poorly run. We waited an hour and half to get our food after ordering. And from the looks of people around us, we were not the only one. We finally went to the server and asked if we could just cancel our order, at which time they said, oh it will just be another 10 minutes for your pizza. Half hour later the pizzas showed up. When we left, we offered our leftover cheese pizza to another family who had recently sat down with young kids. We told them they might need it, just to keep their kids fed while they waited.     I enjoyed the food very much, and was thankful to get a table outside (had a small non vac child with us) and plenty of umbrellas (it almost rained). However I was surprised they didn't have milk, or any coloring page/crayons/child activity for our 3 year old, or a child part of their menu. For it being a restaurant in the village, and seeing that most other parties had children, it wasn't very child friendly. It was hard to keep our child entertained while we tried to enjoy our meal. I would get to go next time because the food was very delicious.
