From the new team behind The Light Bar, The Flowerhouse revives an old English pub in the heart of Marylebone with a mission to support women in the hospitality industry.

Aiming to create a space where everyone feels welcome, The Flowerhouse has an unashamedly fresh and feminine interior. Working with female-led building contractors, designers and gardeners, we have retained original features of the pub, adorning the walls with flora and fauna throughout and signature bold wallpaper designed exclusively for Flowerhouse by print artist Kristjana S. Williams.

All-day food offering, a fresh, flexitarian twist on a classic pub menu. Further spaces will also be revealed upstairs, including a beautifully designed Dining Room.

Should not have taken my dinner booking at all. Pub was packed to the rafters and it just a tiny corner alcove in the very crowded & noisy bar area downstairs with 3 bar stools. They were apologetic for the mess up and we left to eat elsewhere.

“We’re closing early because we’re not busy enough”. Really? A shame because it’s a beautiful venue, but you’re not treated as a customer but as business

We went on a Tuesady. We didn't eat here. We were a group of 5 meeting for drinks at 6pm before dinner elsewhere. The place was packed. We sat inside. Tables are tiny and it was incredibly noisy. The cheapest bottle of red wine on the menu was £28. A great place to go after work to let off some steam before going home. Or a place for 30's singles to be seen.

Limited menu, but everything delicious. Best playlist ever!!! Every song made us smile and sing along. Service was friendly and gracious. We’ll be back!

We booked a table for Saturday night but spent less than a minute in the pub as the lady behind the bar was so rude, we walked out. We simply mentioned that we had a booking, she rolled her eyes and it seemed like we were inconveniencing her. We did not want to spend our money in such an establishment. We then had to find an alternate place for dinner. Very disappointing.

Really great location but not a lot of staff which was the main issue. Had reserved a table but when I arrived there were still people sitting at the reserved seat, had to go inside and order at the bar and when we returned our reserved table had been given away.
