The Florence will feature thoughtful and premium design and creative spaces, an exceptional, locally-sourced menu, refined beer, wine and cocktail program and an array of unique amenities, such as intimate fire pits, a regulation-sized bocce ball court, covered “boat shack” dining room and chic, beach resort-style seating throughout. Paying homage to San Diego swimming legend Florence Chadwick, the 10,000-square-foot indoor and two-acre outdoor space will be located at Kilroy Sabre Springs and include a restaurant, cocktail bar and cafe.

We go to the Florence a lot for date nights, brunch with friends, and even for celebrations. The food is always good and I especially love the decor. They’re one of very few good restaurants in my area so I really hope they stick around!

Our second time there. A hidden little gem. My husband love's their pork chop. My salmon was outstanding.

A group of friends met at the Florence because of the location and because I'd heard good things about the place. We were there for happy hour so just wanted drinks and light snacks. The first two items we wanted to order were not on the menu because it was undergoing some changes. We were left with fries and onion rings, neither very special. The drinks were good and at decent prices. The place is very nice and the venue was quiet for our gathering. Would I go there again? Maybe, just no overwhelmed at all.

Nice decor, spacious place (indoor and outdoor). Not too busy on the weekdays, people may come during happy hour. It’s in an industrial area where you can’t see the restaurant until you get into front. Food is good: deviled eggs are tasty, steak was cooked how I ordered it- medium , salmon was good -moist and skin had perfect crisp. The drinks we got were great, I liked the old fashioned and the one that had with ginger and honey. The strawberry one was refreshing also.

Three items were unavailable, the prime rib was well done beyond belief, there was a happy hour that was extremely loud with bad acoustics, service was slow.

I chose the Florence for a ladies' lunch. This venue is a great alternative to the hustle and bustle of strip malls and fast-casual dining. The ambiance is welcoming, open, and airy. Interesting menu and something for everyone. Enjoyed the Florence salad with salmon and then shared the chocolate croissant bread pudding. Fun!

Great space for an intimate dinner, catch up with a few friends or host an event. Great menu, and the desserts are heaven!

The service was great. Our server, Jordan, was attentive and responsive. The food was delicious, as well as the drinks. Overall a great experience. We were celebrating a birthday. After our meal, Jordan brought over a cup of ice cream with sprinkles to the birthday girl - it was lovely. I highly recommend this location.
