We booked a Table for 5 at the Fleece to celebrate a birthday lunch. It was a Saturday and being nice weather the pub was busy. However this didn't impact negatively on our experience. The service received was good. The ambience was great with the pub being old and characterful. The menu options were varied and only one of our party had less than perfect food, she being the vegetarian. The range of drinks and draught beers was fine. A wedding was occuring outside while we ate and this didn't create noise or affect our meal. Overal a very pleasant experience was had by all. Highly recommended.

This is an atmospheric ancient pub in a village setting. We three ate outside in the garden and were shown to a WWII themed horse box with heating and lighting and room for 6. The inn was very busy but it felt like a private space. Food was delicious and served promptly by attentive staff. A novel and enjoyable experience that was slightly marred by the noise created by a tree branch constantly scraping across the roof in the wind.

We booked a table for 19.30. The table was not quite ready so we waited until 19.45. We ordered a main meal only The meals arrived after 20.30 and we left just after 21.00. I was asked if all was OK as we have eaten there many times. I told the server no and he did knock 2 drinks off the bill It was my Wife's birthday. It did ruin a good day

A beautiful pub serving lovely food . The staff did seem to forget about us between leaving the dessert menus and us actually ordering (we had to find someone after a very long wait)
