This was a nice find. We've walked past it many times but finally booked it on a whim when a lot of other places didn't have any last-minute availability. The rooftop area was so nice—quiet and quaint. Great drink menu, and nice-sized dinner portions. The poutine appetizer was amazing! We'd come back.

The night we were there the entire dining room was closed for a private party, so we were moved up to the “private” dining room (which had been converted to a regular dining area), so it is kind of difficult to assess the ambience. The service was great. The food was OK but not particularly well seasoned. Everything seemed a bit bland.

The server was on his game. The food was just a hit or miss and it missed. Too greasy on the chicken schnitzel. The mussels were okay but one did smell off. And the other options were just not super well prepared.

First time here. Food and drinks were very good— only drawback was the noise level. They had music cranking, the ceilings are low and the tables close together—so it was a strain to hear conversation at our 4 top. Would go back just with my husband to sit at the bar though!

We had a truly lovely experience at the Fitzroy. I was surprised to snag a same day reservation and was even more surprised AFTER we dined there. The Brussel Caesar, edamame pancake and fish and chips were all excellent. Service was just right. Warm, professional and enthusiastic. Looking forward to a return visit.

Loved the rooftop area! Great atmosphere and drinks! Perfect for a date night or girls night! The male Host at the front door had such a great attitude and loved the educational "fun facts" about the buildings history! The Brussel sprouts are a must as well!

For starters we had the wedge salad and the pork skins. Both were very good. I ordered the steak frites and it was cooked perfectly and delicious. My husband had the burger and enjoyed it very much. Our server was also great. I would dine here again for sure.
