   Not impressed! I made a reservation for a friends post wedding brunch on open table.ca and got the confirmation email with the time. However the diner had a different time for my reservation and could not give my group a table although they sat a group of the same size after I just talked to the staff proving the mix up was there’s. We never got a table so we had to leave. Very disappointed and not likely to return again.

   This was a birthday brunch for my husband. The Fine Diner was a great choice for breakfast. I had the muesli granola with Greek yogurt and my husband had the chocolate chips pancakes.

   We had a delicious meal at The Fine Diner. Quick, efficient service, and accommodating of my boyfriend's endless modifications.

   Service was pretty slow - took 25 minutes to get a coffee with Kalua (15 min after I ordered a coffee with Baileys I was told they were out of Baileys). We both had breakfast dishes - Hash & French Toast. Vanilla Custard French Toast was decent but they seriously skimped on the lemon chantilly cream which was the highlight of the dish. The Pulled Pork Hash was ok but lacked flavour. Overall, not my favourite brunch but any means, wouldn’t return.

   Food was below average for the price. We were the only people in for brunch and the chef forgot to prepare half of our meal

   My boyfriend and I took another couple to the fine diner after church, right at lunch time. We made a reservation and was seated and served promptly. Friendly staff. Clean facility. Nice washroom. The food was really good, local grown food, healthy, and fair portion sizes. Celiac considerate which was great for my friend who requires gluten free.

   I hadn’t been to the Fine Diner for a couple of years and it feels different. It’s not as busy, the chalkboards aren’t full of specialty items/drinks/fun facts. The food was good but not as unique/specialty as I was used to from there. However, the bacon was divine!

   I ordered the smoked trout hash. When ot arrived the hash and hollandaise sauce were ice cold and the eggs were over cooked. It was extremly dissapointing. My girlfriends chicken and waffles were perfectly cooked and were amazing. I can only assume mine was finished 15 minites early and they just let it sit on the counter till hers was done. What make this poor preparation more unnaceptable is they were not even busy. There were only 4 other people in the whole place when we were having our meals prepared. When the waitress asked how everything was i told her and she just shrugged and asked if I wanted a recook to which i declined because of how long we had already waited. Do to this bad first impression i likely wont go back.

    Amazing food but I was very impressed with the mission to source locally and to support local community organizations with tips.
