If it were not for the wonderful customer service received by John and Jada, my rating would be much lower. I have been to The Farmhouse in Montgomery County and the quality of the food here in Gambrills is pretty stark in comparison. I had honey roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The roasted chicken was excellent! However, the mashed potatoes were not fully cooked - very hard and dry and the broccoli was discolored and dry, with no flavor. I did receive a substitute salad for my concerns but it was over saturated with caesar dressing - so none of these items were eaten. The rib eye steak was mediocre at best but the short-rib melt sandwich was pretty good along with the blueberry bbque wings. I still plan to have brunch one day to try this establishment out again. But I sure hope that the food is better prepared. I got the feeling that there was a lack of help at this establishment. Jada really had to hustle to check in on all of her customers and she did an excellent job at it. She smiled, spoke in a very easy and welcoming tone at all times. I see her going far in some other type of customer service position if not this one. She made all the difference in this dining experience!

Food was incredibly bland. I had rockfish and vegetables. Nothing was salted or seasoned, at all! The only thing that had anything on it was the skin on the fish, which you don't eat. It was honestly the worst meal I've had at a comparably priced restaurant, and we eat out all the time. The vegetables were seriously under cooked. I couldn't even get my fork into the 'cooked' carrots. The server noticed me not eating much and said nothing until the very end of the meal and then just asked if I wanted a box. Very disappointing. Husband got the short rib sandwich. He said the same thing regarding seasonng and taste, it was very bland. Will definitely not be going back.

The waiter was lovely as was the idesign but my meal was subpar. I had possibly the worse avacado toast I have ever had.

Great dining experience. Comfy was our waitress, she was amazing. We received excellent service and our meals were prepared as requested. We also thoroughly enjoyed the musician performing that evening.

Fried zucchini, classic short rib, and Godfather Ragu spaghetti were all very good. The cocktails, four at the table, were just okay, and not a garnish on the two old fashioneds or their special "orange blossom something or other", just plain glasses, yikes. The latter cocktail wasn't very good. Would go back again, but just have a beer.

The bar is a great date night spot, offering the same menu as the restaurant, but in a relaxed setting. Service has always been great, I love it when the managers come around to ask if everything is alright.

Waiting in the front lobby with 3 other parties for over 10minutes… no host or hostess at the front. I made a reservation for 2 and requested a booth. We were sat in the middle of the restaurant at a 4 top with 3 chairs. It took another 10minutes for a server to come. She didn’t take our drink order but started immediately with dinner specials. I asked for drinks she took our bar order and brought water. She put a dirty dish from another table on our table while she poured our water. The bar drinks took another 10 minutes. The food was great. Honestly the only positives were the server’s attitude (very pleasant) and the food( kudos to the chef). But I don’t think I will be back anytime soon.

We have eaten here on two other occasions, and the food has been good. For some reason this time our food was not good. My wife was unable to eat her salmon at all and my two other guests as well as myself didn't enjoy our food.

We went for our 2nd Anniversary July 7 to celebrate. We gave the wings 10/10, the corn bread 10/10, and we both had sandwiches 8/10. We also had 2 drinks which we LOVED 10/10. I would go again for sure maybe for Happy Hour or Brunch.
