   A birthday treat thanks to a whip-round gift from my family. It had been recommended to us a couple of years ago but for our budget it needed to be a special occasion and it did not disappoint even though our expectations were high. It took us a moment to find the right entrance, but service was charming and the meal well-paced. The menu was enticing and we ended up sharing 3 of the small nibbles, dressed crab and coffees/affogato and chocolates for afters. The food was perfect and delicious, the main course generous (the frites were the lightest we'd ever had), and all in all it was a lovely evening. We noticed what a nice mix of people there were, it was not pretentious and the acoustics meant that noise did not carry. Thoroughly recommend.

   Great food and particularly good service, a little bit expensive but that was balanced by the quality

   Our only problem was deciding which options to go for as there were so many acceptable choices. All four of us were very pleased with our mains selections - (enormous) lamb chops, lamb leg steak, duck breast and hake; our starters were just the right size to whet the appetite without being over filling. Excellent wines too.

   Unfortunately l, the steak my wife and I ordered were very bland and dis not seem to be seasoned. It was a real shame as family recommended Darts Farm, all saying how good the steak meals are.

   A fantastic lunch! We had the vegan sough dough pizza and it was the best I have tasted - and there was no cheese! Outstanding - we will definitely be back

    Attention to detail was superb! Reminded us of being back in South Africa with superb hospitality and super attentive staff! The food was divine as expected.
