Love the new outdoor accommodations for Covid-19 compliance. They have "set up" outside in the parking lot adjacent to the building. Definitely "more room" than when TFC had indoor service. They have a nice Italian seaside (photo) scenery as backdrop panels on the "fence/gate" portion of walls. Ambience is even quieter since seating is outside and there is more than 6 ft between tables. :) PLUS they have a little sound system set up so you still have the "eating inside" vibe. (Bummed no more "bread basket" appetizer, BUT we were just happy to dine again at The Factory Kitchen.)
Awesome food and service! The outdoor set up is terrific.
The food including the dessert was average, our waiter seemed busy, we had to wait for him for a long time before he could help us. Not a good experience.
We had the scallops, the monkfish, the pesto pasta, and the rabbit sugo pasta. Each dish was very good and the Nebbiolo wine I had was excellent. We shall return.
The food was authentic to an Italian experience. Loved the menu selection and drinks to pair. The waiters were well versed on the menu but their courtesy was some what off. I don’t tell so much on as to why but overall the experience was great. I definitely recommend this place for a friend gathering or even a date night during Covid and most likely for even after given the esthetic of the restaurant as it normally is also seems great.
If I had an Italian mother this is where I’d take her to eat in Los Angeles. Almost cried after taking a bite of Funghi. The natural wine felt like a lucid dream. The gelato...

Factory Kitchen - always a favorite place when we have friends from out of town visiting. Happy they have outdoor dining option available. Service still excellent and food superb!
Matheus has done a great job with this place. Felt very clean and safe for all. Waiters were extremely knowledgeable of the menu, drinks were well made. Went for a work dinner but saw everything from friends gathering to dates. Would recommend to anyone.
We had a terrific dinner at The Factory Kitchen including the cavolonero salad, the frittura which was matched with a bowl of red sauce for dipping, the scallops, a pasta, a bottle of the Nebbiolo Almondo, and panna cotta for dessert. Our server Mark was great. What we like in a server is someone who is friendly and has an opinion about what to order, not just what's popular. We have eaten at Factory Kitchen many times and have menu favorites. Mark steered us toward other things and they were spot-on. Also, the maître de was terrific. We had asked for a 4-top so we could sit side by side. Since the restaurant was busy, we sat at a regular table. As the restaurant was thinning out, the maître de remembered and came over and offered to move us, which was really nice of him. Who remembers such things? We'll be back and soon.
food was excellent. the COVID design for the outdoor dining works perfect. seats are well spaced and there are several heaters. of course the food is one of the best in LA!!!
Need more heaters since winter season is here. Otherwise, the food was great.
This was our second time here and everything was greAt yet again! Everything we ordered was fantastic, service great, free parking. All we’re wearing appropriate PPE and we were outdoors. It was chilly despite the heat lamps, but they tried! Totally recommend!
Wonderful attentive service. Excellent food. Outdoor seating only, lots of space to feel comfortable and safe but they need more heaters.
Delicious!!! Lots of space on the patio. Wonderful food.
The FK was delicious as always. Service was excellent.
Our absolute favorite restaurant in Los Angeles. Never disappoints. Make sure you try the tradicionale.
We came late (closing time) and felt the manager was very welcoming. He didn’t rush us at all.
The food was good but not warm, not hot. That was a bit disappointing. Didn’t want to complain because we got there 15 min before closing. Still...
The food and service in the outdoor setting was comparable to the indoor dining room. We really enjoyed our meal. It was nice to dine at this restaurant again.
They did a good job of keeping the tables clean and the staff wore PPE. The outdoor dining area was carpeted.
If you come I highly recommend a sweater or lite jacket. I wish they had outdoor heaters and/or more effective wind shields.
Looking forward to returning.
So happy to see this place open again! Such great food and service!
Everything great considering Covid!
food is excellent as always. outdoor venue, ok, needs some elegance and cheer to be added to it. servers, rusty, hopefully will get easier as we get used to this new normal.
Our food was not up to par as they were in prior times.
The food was excellent and service was great. For post-COVID diners: The "patio" I expected was actually just part of the parking lot that had been enclosed/covered with an awning; nonetheless, it was a great experience.
Food to try: Peperu, Pizzata and Colpo di Mare were delicious! Also, the canollis were probably some of the best I've had (and I've been to Italy twice). Would definitely recommend and will be back.
Pasta was terrific. The steak was outstanding. Highly recommended. They were a littl chaotic-but who can blame em with all the COVID restrictions etc. great fir a date
Haven't been here for years, and it's as good, if not better now. Dishes are precisely balanced, beautifully detailed and expertly executed.
Excellente
Mi piace molto..... pasta fresca fatto in casa!!
Buono buono buono!
The food was unbelievable. Mark was a great server!
The food was as fabulous as ever. It was a little bittersweet, being outside, having the wait staff wear masks (patrons wear masks when moving around but may remove at the table.) But overall a wonderful evening, our first dining out experience since March and we enjoyed it very much.
Whitney was fantastic and the food was spectacular as always!
Great! Great! Great! Great!
Wonderful to the Factory Kitchen open again.
Always a joy to dine here. A bit warm though, this time. Turn the heat down!
Absolutely DELICIOUS food! The roasted beet ravioli is TO. DIE. FOR! Service was exceptional. Highly recommend!
It was somewhat happenstance that we ended up dining here, but WOW. This is hands down our favorite Italian restaurant in LA. The service was perfect; warm, efficient, unobtrusive. The food was outstanding. I had the Casonzei, which was so flavorful and perfectly prepared. My son and husband had the Modenesei, which has truffle butter and truffles. Great, reasonably priced wines. Nice atmosphere, and reasonably priced. Do not miss.
Love this place! One of my favorite go-to’s in LA!
Birthday lunch with friends..
Good food and a super waiter..
Nice ambiance.. will go back!
Everything was delicious. Make sure you include the focaccina in your meal. The meal was so good that our LA friends booked dinner with friends the following weekend!
Good food but little salty
Been wanting to try Factory Kitchen for a while, but found the overall experience just OK. Had a reservation but had to wait 30 minutes to get seated. Their Cavolonero salad was bland and underdressed, their signature mandilli di seta pasta was pretty good as was the cansonzei, but the modenedi felt like an uninspired truffle play that didn’t showcase its star ingredient very well. All in all there are much better pasta experiences for the price point, and I do not think I will return.
One of best restaurants (Italian) in the LA area. Have been there multiple times. Most recent visit we had the mandilli and casonzei, Their cannoli is one of the best I have ever had. I almost order the cannoli whenever I get the opportunity. You will not be disappointed. Will be going back.
Fantastic service. Pasta is amazing! Good cocktail menu as well.
