    We were worried at first, since the hotel was full, but the resto was very quiet at dinner time. Thankfully, our fears were unfounded! The poor waiter was also the bartender and cleaning up the tables, but he managed it all with ease. The cocktails were great, then food…excellent!!!! Even if we stay elsewhere in Banff, we would return there just to eat. Their buffet breakfast was also great. And, both meals were reasonably priced too. Loved it!

    the caesar salad was one of the best I've had. cannot say the same for the chicken wings. Those were the smallest I have EVER seen!!! If you wanna charge $19 for wings, try getting serious! what a joke. Waiter was typical young, inattentive and clueless. Mainly went there to hear Steph O sing, but won't be going back for the food.

    I had dinner by myself with three other tables in the restaurant . The food was top notch cuisine. Server was wonderful, friendly and attentive.

    We were there for a Christmas Turkey Dinner and the meal did meet our expectations. Beautiful presentation, very tasty from the salad to the dessert. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs.

    We went early, both to avoid any rush and also because it had been a long day without food. The restaurant was quiet at that time, but the staff were still very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. My steak was cooked correctly and my wife's chicken was succulent and just right. I can highly recommend this restaurant.

    Delicious food well presented. Very limited menu. Service was good until waitress cleared the table before we had all finished then bought the dessert menu while one of party still eating main. Seems she was anxious to close as we were the only ones left in the restaurant and it was only 9 pm. When she bought the bill she said 18% tip was customary! We do not like being told what to tip. We went to the bar for an after dinner drink to be told by the Barman he was closing at 9.30pm he reluctantly served us and was quite rude and off hand. We waited ages to pay. Main problem throughout seemed to be short staffed.

    We came here for our 30th anniversary dinner. The food was incredible and the service first class. The complementary anniversary dessert was sublime. Thank you so much for making our meal so very memorable!

    Dinner out during COVID. Not a common event for us , but celebrating a birthday. Very quiet . Great table beside fireplace, excellent meal, good service. Wine list was not outstanding, compared to rest of evening. All in all great evening out.

    Had Christmas dinner here, was very good. Could have had a bit more variation for the turkey dinner but overall was fantastic. Our server was excellent.

    food is amazing… from the onion soup entree all the way to the salmon and duck… awesome value for price. Stack them up against any restaurant in Banff any day!

    Business is slow and Banff right now do the drop in traffic, but the staff at the Evergreen took the time to get to know us and cater to our needs. We ate breakfast (thank you, Raine!) and dinner there. Food was excellent. We had the duck and a shrimp Pizza. Wine was good and well paired with the meal. This restaurant was the food highlight of our 8 day trip to Canada.

    Good value for money. Maybe came at a quiet midweek night dinner, felt dated. Went with 3-course special and no regrets. Dessert could be way better though.

    The food was great, our server needs some lesson on how to look after customers, she was very forgetful and seemed to be lost most of the time. defiantly needed more training. The hotel is top notch and the front desk was very courteous and top notch and couldn't do enough to please the customers.

    we loved the food but didnt like that we had to wait over an hour to get it. we could hear the waiter and cook talking about the printer not working right and that the cook didnt get our order yet. the waiter never came to tell us this and that was really disappointing. we understand things like this happen but at least let your customers know what is going on. we also didnt get asked for 2nd round of drinks. the food was good/great except for one Hawaiian pizza. over all its a good place to eat but dont expect to much from the waiter.

    Unfortunately our experience on Feb.14 was not a positive one. It started rocky when after being seated we were not greeted by anyone to take a drink order or to say hello for 45 minutes. We did flag down a bus boy to bring us water and our waiter briefly stopped by to say he would be right back to take a drink order. He never returned, so we flagged down the hostess as we had now been sitting and waiting for an hour. 2 other tables up and walked out. Suzanne the hostess was very friendly and offered to take our order. However we never were offered a drink and with it being Valentine’s Day, we would have purchased a bottle of wine at the very least. It did not get better from here. We were are family of 4 and 2 steaks were sent back absolutely cold and our sons hamburger was a dangerously raw and bloody throughout. Eventually we did get all meals back to us, and the food was actually very good once prepared properly however we all ended up eating separately and almost 2 hours after we sat. Our waiter finally showed up to make the comment, “wow, you guys were really hungry!” We received absolutely no apology and no Thank you for dining. I suppose we should not have been surprised that we also were not offered dessert or coffee. We have never had such terrible service. Although it would not have fixed the entire situation, an apology and/or removal of the raw hamburger off our Bill most likely would have gone a long way, as we do understand most restaurants have off nights. We absolutely do not recommend this restaurant and will not return.
