The ambience was lovely. The noise level definitely louder than I prefer. The wine prices were high. The food was delicious.
Friendly and knowledgeable service. Amazing food. Great vibe.
Pricy for the actual quality of the food. Gorgeous restaurant and staff was very attentive. Only negative would be the food wasn’t to the standard of the pricing IMO.
Best salmon ever! Chicken was flavorful but a little dry. Presentation for both entrees was excellent. Server was great even though he didn’t offer a refill on the water. Great date night!
If we are ever in Savannah again, we will visit the Emporium!
Excellent! Great service. Pancakes were delicious!
Stevie was one of the best servers! Will definitely come back.
Waited 30 minutes to order; had to ask fir water third person had to wait. Restaurant did comp entire Bill. Food was good. Looks like they had enough servers but ours was untrained or perhaps new? Restaurant wasn’t that busy.
Very cool restaurant inside the Perry Lane hotel. Loved the decor and ambiance of this place , including the open layout. Service was great and the food was absolutely amazing! Would highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning on my next visit. Moderately to normal priced for the high quality food.
Great brunch with pancakes to die for. Nice ambiance for gathering with friends and families.
We ordered three brunch dishes to share. All were exceptionally well put together, delicious, and plentiful! Cocktails were so-so. The space is clean, open and inviting with a generous bar. Service was a little sluggish, but then again, it was New Years Day. Who wasn't feeling sluggish?
Excellent service staff. We loved our server Stevie. He was authentic & attentive. Great ambiance. We had the prix fix menu for NYE. At $105/pp plus grat, I expected the food to be better executed. The portions were tasting sizes. Shishito peppers were inconsistently cooked. Some were charred well. Some were barely warm. While the scallops were perfectly done, they sit on a bed of clearly raw risotto. The arborio was inedible. The wagyu was to temperature but over seasoned. It was our first time visiting the Emporium. We'll come back and try again when it's not as busy and with the regular menu.
For the most part it was good. Since it was New Years eve, they had a fixed menu , so not sure how to rate the food. Designated it was my wife's birthday, but it was never acknowledge.
Service and chef were great.
Service and attention to clientele was very poor. It took us 1 hour to receive a bowl of soup and a small salad. When the salad arrived the server added that they were out of one of the main ingredients. by that time i was really hungry so no way to return it.
Server was inadequately trained and could not follow-up. once the tea was served, it took her a reminder and 10 min to bring sweetner for the tea.
We eat here a lot and enjoy the food but this time it was not at its best. Our service was great and our server was friendly and knowledgeable. The salad i ordered was half the size as the week prior when I ordered it and it was super soggy and flavorless. The butternut squash soup the week prior was excellent but this time it was very stringy , I had to keep pulling strings out my mouth and it was lacking in flavor. We love the emporium but the taste needs to be the same each week. We come almost every week
Entree’s were NY Strip and Lamb Chops. Both were cooked to our expectations, side were very good as well. Would dine there again!
Everything was positive except only downside was waiting time for food from kitchen was way too long.
Best wait staff in town. Food is fantastic and creative.
Service was incredible and the food was wonderful, really no complaints to list.
Great food and service! Hans was our server and he was very attentive and a pleasure. Lamb was cooked to perfection.
The Emporium is a beautiful restaurant but my guest and I were beyond disappointed with our service last night. When we arrived for our reservation at 8:00pm we were seated after standing in line just shy of 5 minutes while the hostess scrambled to put together a table for a family of 5. When we were finally seated, the hostess gave us a cocktail menu and a four course fixed dinner menu as well. We waited and waited and waited for our server to finally greet us only to tell us that they are only serving their fixed menu that night but the manager will “make an exception” for the drink menu. So with that being said, we left hungry and highly disappointed. There was no indication on the open table app that the restaurant was only serving their over priced fixed menu dinner. Because of this communication error, we wound up across the street at a dump karaoke bar eating steak fries and frozen pizza for our Christmas dinner. Thank you for absolutely nothing.
Very good service and food. Good portion size. Published menu price of wine was different than amount charged, but made sense.
A noisy wine bar parading as a restaurant - if you liked the Jetsons; this is your spot - chrome, glass, tile - gays and minimals living off thier parents, abound ....
Decided to eat here on Christmas with a prefixed menu, this is a return visit to this restaurant for me. Found the atmosphere just lovely and the staff, gracious, professional and welcoming. My server was Hans but my table was also touched by another lovely server who asked if I needed anything and brought my drink. Hans made my meal special and truly showed me the gift of service and on Christmas day no less! I am a local and since the emporiums opening I have found this to be a much needed addition to savannah. Enjoyed the bree and gingerbread c.brulee but love the accommodation of my choice of sweet potato risotto and horseradish potatoes as my entree as I am a vegetarian. Dine here for amazing food, gracious service and great memories. I will be back soon!
I have been before and it was awesome! This experience had a set menu. I was not aware of that when the reservation was booked. Drinks are overpriced. The meal was good, however, it was not worth the 400
bill. We missed the grilled octopus and braised beef.
Food was very good especially the Brie appetizer. Noise level was moderately high. Waiter was busy chatting with customers while support staff(food delivery staff) were very good and attentive. Desert was somewhat of a letdown compared to the first three courses. The she crab soup was very good.
This was our first time visiting and our server Hans was amazing. He was attentive when we needed him to be, was lovely in conversation, and overall a pleasant person and a wonderful server. Easily one of the best servers I’ve encountered. The food was delicious, the wine selection was abundant, and we are very pleased with our first time dining. They were incredibly considerate of my partner’s allergies and made sure to accommodate accordingly. We will be back and definitely ask for Hans! Thank you all again for such a memorable dining experience. :)
We had a wonderful dinner experience. Our waiter was very attentive and made excellent suggestions. All our meals were delicious and creative in taste. Will be back again.
Loved this place so much on our visit to Savannah that we are there twice. Duck confit rivaled the dishes I had in Paris. Squash soup was amazing and my friend loved the shrimp and grits. Great atmosphere and wonderful cocktails
Stevie was the best! He definitely delivered on providing the best experience for my anniversary.
Excellent food and service. A modern look and excellent wine selection. Our server was friendly and prompt.
The environment is always very peaceful, modern, and inviting, but the best part of the experience has been the service. I cannot emphasize enough the quality of service of The Emporium. The past couple of times we had Stevie as our waiter and he was fantastic. He is consistently (in my experience) accommodating and welcoming, and he has a genuine desire to ensure that everyone has the best visit to The Emporium possible.
The service was great and the menu was superb. I had the special fried branzino with coconut rice and it was excellent.
The only thing that was strange was that they brought the check before asking if we wanted dessert....
Service was phenomenal, food was great.
Can't think of anything good to say.
Will not be going back.
Our server was great! Very attentive. And they were willing to seat us an hour before our original reservation. The butternut squash soup was Amazing! The Thanksgiving dinner special was so-so. Green beans and stuffing were tasty, but the mashed potatoes and turkey were dry. Cocktails weren't quite what we wanted, and for nearly $20, we weren't impressed at all. We would maybe go back, but stick to things on their normal menu.
The service was excellent for starters. We had the Thanksgiving turkey meal special which was just fantastic and exactly what we wanted since we were missing the gathering with a home cooked meal. Only two minor complaints. We had the charcuterie board as an appetizer. While the selection was nice, there was an abundance of “cheaper” things like fruit and barely 4 slices of meat for two people to share. It was a little skimpy to say the least. And I know this sounds weird, but “charcuterie board” is served on a board not a bowl. I’ve just never had a cheese board or anything like that served in a big bowl before - odd. Finally, the desserts were just strange. 3 mini slices of pie. I guess these could have been personal preference, but all three tasted very strange to me and in particular, the pecan pie tasted nothing like any pecan pie I have ever had and I grew up in a family of pie bakers - it had a strange egg custard taste. Sometimes, especially with Thanksgiving dessert, stick with the basic recipe. But on the whole, the main course, as I said, was fantastic and I would gladly sit down and eat it again to the last bite right now - just next time I’d skip the appetizer and just finish with coffee. And again, our waiter Hans was excellent.
The Thanksgiving turkey meal was so good. Everything on the plate was delicious. The staff was very attentive. I would definitely return to eat here again.
