We went to EFI for my friend’s birthday 12/8. After we were done, she said it was the best birthday she ever had. Violet was a fantastic server. Very attentive and truly cares. The food was wonderful also. Tasty, fresh and unique. We really appreciated Chef Dan and Donna for making her birthday special. We will be back soon.

We had an amazing dinner at Elkridge Furnace Inn. The selection of food was eclectic and fresh. Chef Dan came to our table and gave a very fantastic description about the source of the food and how it's prepared. We had a great experience. As always, our server was awesome. Dining at Elkridge is an adventure!

It might have been an off night for them. Waitstaff was very courteous, but the food was slow and portions small. The plates, for a fine dining establishment, were very blandly presented. One of the items we ordered — the pumpkin kale, was missing the pumpkin. Anyway, I hope they get back to how they were in the past. It’s a nice establishment and has terrific potential.

A few glitches getting seated but it was a huge Thanksgiving crowd! All the food was outstanding but we missed having some type of bread while we waited.

Our Thanksgiving dinner was superb and the service was beyond good. What a wonderful place! The Baltimore soup-filed with lump crab meat, Turkey juicy and beautifully presented and a great chocolate desert. Bravo!

AWESOME & UNIQUELY DELICIOUS THANKSGIVING DINNER in an historic 18th century setting. It was a chef crafted & fresh four course dinner. We chose an aperitif, then our meal: Appetizer, Salad, Turkey Dinner, & a wonderful dessert. Then we selected a perfect wine from their list to match each course. After dining for 2.5 hours we left refreshed!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND The ELKRIDGE FURNACE INN! We’ve been coming for years & leave thoroughly satisfied every time!!!

Wonderful Thanksgiving dinner (chose 3-course option) with cozy atmosphere and friendly staff, also greeted by owner. The food was delicious and nicely presented. The chocolate fig and hazelnut cake was one of the most pleasing desserts I've had (both taste and presentation). The atmosphere of the restaurant was homey and delightful, as a historic/cultural experience as well (the building circa before the US was founded!). Glad places like this exist and that I got to visit while in Maryland.

We always try to eat here when we are in town. The food is excellent. The Owner/Chef always makes an effort to swing through the restaurant and check in with all off the tables. Great service from Jake and everyone else on the staff.

Our server was excellent. His recommendations were spot on. I had the Delmonico with Madeira sauce and it was exquisite. It was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. I will definitely be returning.

We decided to try dinner a few months after having a great time at a wedding. The dinner was beyond fabulous! Service was great, we were in a charming room with a fireplace, and the food was incredible. The cost isn't cheap but with that said I've paid way more at restaurants for same quality, or even less, quality.

We have previously really enjoyed the Inn, but this visit was a bit disappointing. We were in the upstairs dining room and it was loud made worse by the fact that we could hear everything the overbearing server said to every table in the room. We did not care to repeatedly hear that he was from New Jersey and that he loved the state and had friends there. The food varied from outstanding sauteed mushrooms to a good veal chop to an underwhelming kale salad and confit of duck leg. When it was time for dessert our heads ached from the noise and we went home. Maybe just a bad night from a restaurant which can really excel.

Food was excellent, customer service was spot on, decor was elegant. Me and my girlfriend ordered the rabbit and the chicken 10/10. Server Jason was amazing. Gave us complimentary champagne as it was my girlfriends birthday and even held the door for us once we were leaving. Will be back again

This was one of the best food experiences we ever had. We stopped over for Sunday brunch a couple of hours prior to our flight out of BWI. The restaurant is located 5 min away from the airport. We had scones for appetizer, wild mushroom omelette with Gruyère cheese for main meal, and French toast with mascarpone cheese for desert. All of the food was absolutely delicious. The eggs are were picked in the morning and chef hand picked the mushrooms in the back of the property. The chef stopped by several times to chat and check on us during the meal. Our server, Parrish, was superb! He provided one of the best services we ever had at a restaurant. When we return to Baltimore area, we will definitely come back to try the dinner menu.

Food was tasty overall. The chocolate fig torte left something to be desired as I could not taste the fig in it and the figs on top were tasteless and dry. Maybe a fig syrup would have helped. Lots of mushrooms in everything. For such a nice restaurant, I was disappointed that they charge $1 for each roll and $1 for dipping oil. Seems tacky to do so. Room gets a bit crowded and noisy once every table gets filled. The water glasses should be regular glass size not small 6 oz size. Water boy had yo come around about 8-10 times to keep filling our water glasses. The martinis we had were delicious. It was a birthday celebration for a friend and the restaurant did some special things to celebrate that and it was really nice and appreciated.

FANTASTIC!! My husband and I live in Harrisburg, PA but fly out of BWI on a regular basis. We normally don't fly into Baltimore around dinner time due to all the traffic, but when we do we make it a point to make reservations at The Elkridge Furnace Inn. The setting and ambiance are fantastic. Perfect for couples, friends and business dinners. The food is spectacular from soup and salad to appetizers, entrees and dessert!! You can't miss with this place. Last, but not least...the service is wonderful! Extremely knowledgeable, personable, and efficient without being hurried. Our waitress Tori was just great and her assistant Tony was just as good. What a gem!! See you soon.

Chef and owner stopped by our table. Shared some ingredients in the sauce we enjoyed that had such depth of flavor that we will long remember. House made veal bacon and elderflower vinegar. We were enchanted.

I had the best liver and onion dish I have ever had in my life. It was magnificent. If you are a fan of this dish, it is not to be missed!

What a delightful gem near the BWI airport, the only thing better than the food was the very personalized attention and service.

From the moment we stepped in we were greeted with a smile and a friendly welcome. Our server, Parish, was in his element and knowledgeable providing not only the history of the restraunt and area but also supplied great food selections and details about the ingredients and freshness. We were there on business from Oklahoma so the information was much appreciated. The Filet with Madera sauce was an excellent choice and simply mouth-watering! The mushroom cakes and crab cakes were delectable not to mention the presentation. I don't know how, but the food stayed hot down to the last bite. The chef came out before we ordered and welcomed us which was an added bonus as well. Additionally the water waitress was strikingly beautiful and very kind. This restaurant is truly in a class if it's own and when we make it back to Maryland it will be on our return list.
