The Homestead Restaurant + Lounge at The Eldred Preserve, named "The Best Fine Dining Restaurant in the Upper Delaware Valley," offers an elevated dining experience — featuring house-aged steaks and farm-to-table fare — all year long.

The modern steakhouse features several unique experiential spaces, including floor-to-ceiling windows in its main dining area, a wine-tasting room, private dining room, sunroom dining area, and an expansive covered, heated outdoor patio that’s ideal for dining al fresco. Guests can enjoy custom cakes for special occasions, holiday dining events, and special onsite performances.

The Homestead’s menus are ever-changing, and include a list of carefully-crafted signature cocktails, a wide selection of world-class wines, and an array of spirits and beers, many distilled or brewed in and around Sullivan County, N.Y.

They accepted and honored our reservation for 8:00 pm for 6 people, and the restaurant closes at 8:00 pm. Was seated promptly. Service was good. Menu had a great selection. Food was delicious. This was my second time here. I would definitely return when in the area again. The grounds and restaurant are very beautful.

Beautiful location in a quiet wooded setting. Service was great! Excellent selection of entrees. Food was delicious and wonderfully presented. Really enjoyed the experience!

Good service. Excellent ambiance. Pristine surroundings. Polite staff. The main course Swordfish ordered by two in our party was barely cooked. We had to send it back. The server brought it back after 15 minutes. This time it was properly cooked. However, the 15 minute wait did not bode well for our appetite. The dessert Raspberry tart was tasteless and hard as a rock. Overall the food was not up to par. However, ambiance, service and surroundings were beautiful.

This restaurant has it all. Great service, great food, beautiful ambiance and wonderful people working there. It’s 100% worth every dollar spent!

Lovely establishment and great service. Visited for HVRW but food was ok. It came out warm, pork tenderloin was dry and steak was ok. Drinks are very good. Grounds are lovely.

Since opening, The Eldred Preserve dining room has always had a lot of potential. Unfortunately, they fall short. Food arrives at the table tepid at best. The first course, soup, was just warm enough to be bearable. The second course, steak frites, arrived lukewarm, including the fries . However, dessert saved the night. Service wants to be good, but when the second course arrives and the table still hasn't been cleared from the first, it feels like local diner service. The strange bread basket includes a sweet kind of Cinnabon bread. After multiple requests and 15 minutes later, a replacement basket arrived with three stale slices of bread and no butter. Don't get this wrong; we love the convenience and location of this place, but your money is better spent upstairs in the lounge.
