   There was a buffet today no orders off the menu. There was a cook stand offering eggs to order and omelets. I did not avail myself of that stand due to the line at the time I was there. The buffet line was short of a few food items but what was there was OK. The wait person service was great.

   Made a reservation well in advance, we were seated by the kitchen which was very busy with the staff coming and going!!! Slamming menus in the slot behind me. Asked to be moved and told very rudely that this was my table!!!! Waitress took our order and honestly only came back to the table when I flagged her down and then she didn’t always respond. With all the restaurants in the area with good food and service, doubt I will be back for dinner anytime soon!!!!!

   We had a window table and enjoyed the golf course, lake and Mountain View. We ate at 5pm and it was only a quarter full, so it was nice and quiet. I had the filet mignon special for $29 which was delicious. My husband had the chicken fried chicken and we shared chocolate cake with strawberry ice cream. We will definitely make Eagle’s Nest part of our dining routine.

   Usually we experience an excellent meal and service. But our last visit was not. The fries were cool and I did not bother to eat them. My guest ordered a side salad and it was treated as a substitution. I ordered vanilla ice cream for desert and received strawberry 20 minutes later. We waited and waited for the vanilla, with the waiter checking twice and never received it. We gave up and left.

    The brunch buffet is not worth it. When we arrived the scrambled eggs, potatoes and French toast were empty. The line up for omlettes was 10 people deep. There was no fresh fruit or yogurt, no granola. It was basically eggs, bacon french toast and pastries. Very disappointing. There is no way it should be called "brunch buffet!' We waited at our table for 10 minutes before finally flagging down a waitress to give us direction on how to access the brunch. We were not offered coffee or juice and finally had to wave down another waitress!
