Fried Chicken: all natural, secret brine and breading, and spicy honey. We start with cage free, free roaming, all natural chicken. It’s brined, dredged, then dropped into custom-built fryers. Its got a little kick and is served with our house made hot honey. Our sides are modern takes on down-home favorites. Made in house every day.The lively atmosphere is relaxed and upbeat — driven by a blues heavy soundtrack.

It has been some years since I ate here and unfortunately it was just not anything like I recalled all those years ago. The chicken was very peppery which overpowered any other aspect of the brine or breading seasoning. The fries were cold and the collard greens were lukewarm. Our server was not very present either. Overall just disappointed to see how the food and service have seemed to decline here.

Their chicken is what they are known for and after getting it, it’s easy to see why! Being from the south, we have been to places that have great fried chicken. The seasonings in their batter were among the best we’ve had. That paired with the hot honey and great sides made the whole meal a great one. The sides to go with it were great for sharing. Our server was helpful in explaining what was popular and since we went with the family style it ended up being extremely reasonable.

Food wasn’t great. Food came out quick & not super hot. Collards were super vinegary , Mac n cheese noodles were hard as if they’d been sitting out or undercooked.
