Our waiter was so wonderful. He was attentive, helpful but gave us our space. The food was great. We had fried chicken, delicious Mac and cheese, delightful sweet potatoes and mash potatoes.

The food is good but the service is awful. We waited on the sides for our entrees for over 45 minutes. Our server didn’t communicate anything to us at all. It’s sad because the food is very good.

Our server made some pretty major mistakes. He definitely wasn't paying attention. Drinks didn't arrive, twice. Food was very very late. He came to our table and said some issue with the computer but we were the only table that seemed to have a problem. We didn't feel like he was being forthcoming about the issue. We love The Eagle and we will be back. But our server may need a little more direction.

Best fried chicken I've ever had in my life! seriously good food.. the only thing that was a small disappointment in were the biscuits, they were 2 of 3 were dry/hard. The spoonbread was much better... everything else was amazing!

Food was delicious! Got the 1/2 chicken, cornbread, and the Buffalo chicken dip. Give it try and highly recommend making reservations beforehand. If you don’t have reservations the bar is full service and first come

One thing to note before booking: everything is a la carte, and though fairly affordable, the prices are higher than listed on the menu on this site. Case in point- listed for 1/4 chicken here is $7, at the restaurant is $10; fries are listed as $2, in person is $5. Also, my personal favorite which I had, is their just drumsticks (you get 5) and that’s $12, which isn’t listed here online. So a $17 meal, $21 after tax and tip may not be as bargain balancing as a $9, probably $11-13 after additional. But for the average appetite and I still didn’t finish the fries, $20 for a meal is considered good, better when you’re full and the food tastes as good as it does here.

We got seated quickly and our waiter took our orders fast as well. However, the food itself took over 45 min to get to our table. When looking around the restaurant, we noticed lots of other tables also getting frustrated with waiting so long for their food too. This restaurant seems understaffed, but most of the food is good (not the salads).

It was amazing! I definitely recommend this place for a dinner date, or even just go by urself! Busier days I recommend making a reservation it was crazy on weekends. Definitely loved our server Robbie was such a vibe and loved her energy!

The food was really good, but service at the bar was awful. Two bartenders just standing there talking without acknowledging we were there for at least 15 minutes. She only came over to give us water when she saw us staring at her. There was only one other customer sitting at the bar at the time. Both bartenders were not friendly and could care less. Such a shame because the food was good, but the service is going to ruin the ratings every time if this continues.

Perhaps the worse food experience. Waitress brought cold food to our table twice- and never sent a manager over. Food took over 40 mins. Appetizer came to the table with our dinner. So disappointed.

Food was not up to temperature and drinks were warm with minimal ice. Also, all sides were pretty much bland and the breadcrumbs pretty much ruined every dish they were on. Not a place I would return to if given the choice.

The food was quite good and the service was excellent. The prices were good for the quality of food, but the drinks were overpriced in my opinion ($12 for a spritzer?). The major downside for me was the volume. It wasn’t very busy (maybe 50% of the tables were in use) and the noise level was overwhelming. If we had stayed any longer we’d have gone hoarse trying to maintain a conversation. They would be doing their customers a huge service by installing some acoustical panels to absorb some of that sound.

My husband and I tried this place for our date night. Best fried chicken!! Service was a little slow but it was crowded on a Saturday evening. We had to wait for our drinks for awhile. Our appetizer came out AFTER our dinner, but the waitress took it off the bill and apologized before we could even mention it. All food was delicious!

The fries were so salty and cold. We didn’t get one of the sides we ordered. Our server didn’t come to the table to check on our food until we were ready for our check.

Came here on a Thursday evening around 5:30. Restaurant was very busy. We had reservations and still had to wait about 10 minutes. The hostess/reception area of this establishment is horribly small. Feels like the size of a closet. No waiting area at all. Our server was very good and was quick and attentive. Service was the best part of this restaurant. Food was good too but nothing at all special. They are known for their fried chicken, so that is what I ordered. It was good but I feel it needed more flavor. Not sure if the chicken is seasoned before being dredged, but it needs to be. Beer selection was decent and I was able to find a local IPA that tasted great. Overall a good experience but not a place I will probably return to.

Food was excellent we had chicken,bbq sandwich, grilled cheese,horseradish mashed potatoes, macaroni and brown sugar bacon they forgot our hush puppies but I’m sure they are good as well. There was a snafu with our table…women at the bar sat at our booth right before we got there so we had to sit at a table. Then a staff member came up and asked if we just seated ourselves at the table which was weird but other than that a good experience.

Great food as always. The fried chicken is juicy and crispy!!! Absolutely love the succotash. Ate a little later in the even so it wasn’t jam packed. Our server was very friendly and helpful.
