We are closed on Mondays EXCEPT for Monday 20th of January during Queen's Feast Restaurant Week.
Open for brunch Sunday from 11 am to 2 pm.
Steak, fries and greens along with oft-changing daily specials of seafood and more.
Food was ok. It’s was kind of strange that the shared dishes weren’t served with serving spoons, especially during a pandemic! Otherwise good service.
Honestly food & drinks were underwhelming. "Breakfast hash" and "Hangover hash" were literally just French fries with toppings on them. Either call them fries, make actual hash,, or just take them off the menu. They also told Open Table I never showed for my reservation. Great location and setup. I would be willing to give them another chance but would seriously doubt it would be for brunch again
So excited to finally check this place out! Hand sanitizer and mask station at the door and servers wore masks and gloves. We had a reservation but we were only one of 3 tables so felt totally safe and comfortable. The food was delicious and priced appropriately. Our only minor disappointment was a lack of some sort of sauce/aioli for the regular truffle fries, but I think that would have been different if we had chosen to upgrade. Overall great experience and will define going back
Nova was our server, she was great! Very friendly and knowledgeable, she provided great recommendations and ensured that we had a great experience. I'm definitely going back asap!
AMAZING- my favorite place for quality food!
We loved out server but the food was just ok and the atmosphere won’t bring us back.
We had a Wonderful meal. The new menu is spot-on for the season. We’ll be back!
We've had wonderful dinners here but this was our first time having brunch. Sadly, it was an underwhelming experience. French toast was thin slices of barely-battered whole grain bread though the various topping options were interesting. Hash was surprisingly spicy, which made the disappointing lack of water-glass-refills quite noticeable. $6 for a side of eggs seems excessive considering that most breakfast entrees cost about $20 and didn't include any protein. Will stick to the Dunavant for steak dinners only from now on
I loved the funnel cake but the chicken was bit overcooked and dry.
Great food and great service
Good food, great service. Spent more than we wanted to but still had a great time!
Excellent food and service. Ambiance was nice...open atmosphere was welcoming.
Ambiance and service was great. Laid back, chilled out crowd and nice for date night. The red pepper bisque was good. Had the duck for the entree and it wqs cooked well. Personally don't agree with pairing the Duck with Sheshito peppers and French fries for carbs. Didn't really mix well regarding flavor in my book and all I could taste was the grease from the fries rather than accentuating the ducks flavor. Drinks were good though
We arrived close to 3 pm. Upon arrival we were provided with dinner menus. When ordering we were told that we had the wrong menus.
We asked if an exception could be made and the waiter with out consulting said not at all.
Hum... left thinking that this place is not at the level for the price they charge.
My boyfriend and I traveled from Atlanta and found this establishment through Open Table. We were looking for affordable dining and good food. The Dunavant didn’t disappoint. Even though there is a fixed menu, their selections were pretty decent.
I had the special of the day which was the whole lobster cut in half and stuffed with a rice and fish(COD) creamy sauce. I opt out of the fries and went with the four cheese macaroni.
My boyfriend has the pre cut filet steak medium well and four cheese macaroni.
We both had the Riesling pair with our dinner and it was delicious. Our waiter Nova recommended it based on our wine preferences. Speaking of Nova, she’s such a sweetheart. She was knowledgeable with everything from the menu and helpful when it came to substitutions.
Food was incredible. Service incredible with Madison. Drinks incredible. Our first time and going back for sure!
We went for a date night. Wasn’t really impressed. The app we ordered didn’t come out until the food came out. All 4 of us ordered steaks and they were cold when we got them. The meat was not cooked how we ordered at all. The drinks were good but I’m not sure there was alcohol in them. The food was very mediocre and not worth the money
Won’t be going back
Food was okay- the fried chicken and funnel cake was a winner, but the steak and scramble left a lot to be desired, especially for the price. Service was great, and the space was really well appointed. Would be willing to try it again during dinner, but not brunch.
Always a good meal. Nice staff and great atmosphere
We had a corner booth inside and it was very cozy for a dinner date. We ordered the $29 dinner with appetizer, protein and bottomless fries...it’s a ton of food! We both took doggy bags home. Very satisfied with our experience, we plan to return.
Service was good from start to finish. Servers and staff appeared to take social distancing seriously. You could tell they were attentive to details. Tables were spaced. Cautious when speaking with you taking care to stand back a bit while speaking with you. Everyone wore masks. THANK YOU. Food was good. Truffle fries delicious. The creme brûlée was amazing! The open air seating was really nice. Yes, I would absolutely go back ...and often.
Food was good menu a little awkward
Great food, service, and ambiance. Best waitstaff in Charlotte. Can’t ask for more.
Safe, Considerate and still one of our favorite places to dine. A GREAT value.
Our server, Amber was bright, knowledgeable, practiced appropriate Covid regulations and really made the experience worth it. Super cute place. The calamari app was excellent but our Brunch entrees needed a little work. Willing to go back and try the dinner menu, which Amber said was amazing! Looking forward to giving it another try! Absolutely ask for Amber if you stop by!
Very cute restaurant. Great for a date or just a girls night. Ambiance was really nice. I give the food a 4 out of 5 but I'm a foodie and have had some amazing food so I'm harder to please.
Great service, food, and drinks
The drinks were great. We really enjoyed ourselves
They have expected their menu, now more choices.
Excellent food and great service from Sam.
We will definitely return!
Excellent! Not too cozy due to Covid, but not their fault.
Service was excellent and the food was great. Old fashion needs single large ice cube, it got drowned out by ice. Other than that, great spot.
Service was amazing. I think our waitress was Madeline (sorry if I got that wrong) she was amazing. Got our drinks and food out quickly. Super pleasant and the ambiance was delightful. Would definitely come back soon!!
Great restaurant! Our server Samantha is always amazing!
Great value for your money! Steak and bottomless fries with sauces - fabulous. Reese's tart - outstanding. Even with only one server that evening, all worked out well and we were tended to efficiently and with care. Great find and will definitely dine again.
One of the best meals I have ever enjoyed. Steak Au' Poivre was perfectly prepared, truffle fries were amazing, and the pretzel bites were on point! Do not pass on the old fashioned! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an amazing night out that won't break the bank.
Food was amazing! One of my favorite spots in southend
Excellent value. I could have shared my portion for two people easily (without refills). The food is tasty, the menu simple and the service excellent!
We were served quickly. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was lively.
