   Brilliant Sunday evening atmosphere, attentive staff, good wine list, good selection of beers and fantastic food. Live music from 7pm topped off a brilliant afternoon.

   Perfect birthday celebration everything was spot on .... the food was amazing I had the fish special and the sauce was delicious 😋 our waiter was very attentive and helpful and the atmosphere was lovely. A wonderful night we will be back soon to try the rest of the menu !!

   A busy pub with lots of customers and slightly cramped, but more than made up for with the excellent food and full table service for food and drinks. Staff are lovely and very helpful.

   We went to the Duke and had their Sunday roast menu, which was great food, and terrific value. Two of us were non-meat eaters, and had the fish stew which was excellent, and one of us massively enjoyed roast belly pork with the traditional accompaniments (and a wonderful, but actually unnecessary side of cauliflower cheese). Highly recommended. Also, it is a dog-friendly establishment.

   Friendly staff and very welcoming. We had a baby and a dog with us, they staff were very accommodating!

   Took a friend from LA to dinner at The Duke. We were both really pleased with the service and the meal. I have been to The Duke for Sunday lunch previously and the food is always top class. Highly recommended!

   We aren’t local but would most definitely make the journey back. Food was exceptional and staff accommodating and super friendly.
