The service was outstanding! The food was better than expected after reading some of the reviews. I had the Beef Wellington starter which was cooked to perfection. The homemade Focaccia bread and herb butter was very good but would've been better warm. The shaved brussel sprout salad was yummy and he plank fries had just the right amount of crispness. This is a new favorite restaurant. Try it, You won't be sorry.

Had the halibut and it was excellently prepared. Both the presentation and flavor were very good.

The menu was limited though and the cocktails were quite expensive. My old fashioned was $20 and I thought that was alittle much.

Really wanted to like this place but it was just ok. The service was really good but the food was bleh. I got the baseball cut sirloin and it was really tough. A friend got the bison tenderloin and it was very small.

We first went to The Douglas in December 2019 and it was fantastic. I ordered a filet mignon. It was cooked to perfection. Other meals that were ordered we're just as good. Service was top notch.

We went to The Douglas on 10/30/21 and I was completely disappointed. Even though the restaurant only had 3 tables, service was very slow. I ordered a $55 ribeye. It was very low grade, considerable fat and maybe 10 oz. It was prepared to the correct temperature. However, not at all what my first experience was like. We won't be going back.

The service was very nice, the place is really quiet (due to lack of customers) and the food was very well prepared. The downside to this restaurant is there is nothing extra, no bread (even though there were bread plates). The portions were small. Not often I leave a restaurant and think I really need more food. Wine seemed to be poured a bit short too.

The restaurant is very clean and the wait staff were friendly and attentive. It was a great place to catch up with friends over delicious food. The wait staff did not rush us and was super attentive even after we completed out meals. I would recommend for an evening out.

The bartender said she really didn’t know how to make a martini and the scallops were obviously frozen. Atmosphere was lacking.
We were sad to see this as we really wanted a nicer restaurant in the area to be better.
Service was probably the biggest turn-off, but side note the manager was very nice he just said he works too many hours.

We understand there is a labor shortage as I am an executive in the F&B industry, but there was hardly anyone in the restaurant so their is no excuse for what transpired on our visit. It took ten minutes for our server to appear and then take our drink order, then our server returned 10 minutes later see was surprised to not see our drinks and then took our dinner order. She said she would check on our drinks and 5 minutes later our salad arrived by one on the runners, and still no drinks. We asked the runner to check on them, she then brought them back. My martini was fine but my wife's drink the Pistola Paloma was less than half full in the glass. We complained but the response from our server was "we are on camera and can't pour anymore". My martini was three times the amount of a pour compared to the Paloma. The food was great and really great. After having a great experience on our first visit to the Douglass this visit was more than disappointing and frankly unacceptable. A for the Food and F for Service and Drinks. We won't be coming back.

I was expecting a suburban steakhouse experience, and the decor could use a little personality, but the food was wonderful and eclectic. Parker has been desperately needing a restaurant with an interesting fine dining menu. And now, just like that, it has arrived. The service was fun and attentive without being overbearing and the manager also checked in. The scallops elote were the nicest scallops I’ve had in years. We will be back soon

Went on a double date and we were in search of something new. I read about the restaurant and was excited. But the reviews made us question it. The Douglas really lacked luster. The restaurant was empty and dark. The menu lacked variety. We ordered the jumbo crab cake and shrimp. Just alright. I ordered the scallops and it came on a bed of corn. Again, just alright. I recommend just staying home and making your own meal.

Our waitress was very pleasant. She made our experience better.

Have no pics to share. Not worth the time. Maybe they are in the middle of picking themselves back up from lockdown.

I was very disappointed in the Douglas. I expected a high end steakhouse and there was only 1 steak on the menu along with 4 or 5 other items. This was definitely not a fine dining experience! The menu was very poorly printed, the selections were very limited and the prices were high. I would like to say our server was very pleasant and understood the frustration with our dining experience. I will not be back!

Our party of four was blown away by how delicious the appetizers, mains, and signature cocktails were at The Douglas! We tried the salmon ceviche appetizer and liked it so much we ordered a second. We each had a different main entree--short ribs & parmesan grits, grilled salmon, scallops, and pesto pasta--and were all quite pleased with our choices. The service was second-to-none, and Chef Adam stopped by our table to chat, which we really appreciated. We will definitely be back for dinner and cannot wait to try their Sunday Brunch as well!

We were very excited to try the Douglas as it seems to be one of the few "fancier" restaurants in Parker. We were a bit surprised to see staff dressed casually and the general feel of the restaurant was casual although the prices of the food and drink reflected a fancier style. Our cocktails were delicious. We had the market salad and house fries to start. Both were great. We each had a steak, the 12 oz and the 8oz filet. Each were cooked one level higher than we asked. On the 8oz the crab tasted like it was past it's expiration date and affected the flavor of the meat. For a $45 plate it was pretty disappointing. Unfortunately not quite what we had hoped but we will stop by again to give it another chance.

We enjoyed the brunch. There were only 3 menu choices that were to our liking. We did enjoy the Beer Cheese Steak & Eggs. We would order it again and we would consider coming back for brunch for a special occassion. Pricing seemed reasonable for entrees but not for drinks.

It was great, but we were the guinea pigs for their new brunch, so there are some definite kinks to work out. They did not seem prepared to greet us even though we had a reservation. We were seated immediately though. We had to ask the waiter to come back to take my daughter's order. She skipped over her entirely. Out of a few items that were listed on the menu. Took over 10 minutes for drinks. They only had 3 tables, but also only had one bartender. It was frustrating for us to watch 3 servers standing by the bar waiting for the drinks instead of them helping out to make them. The server kept reaching in front of us instead of to the side. She also kept squeezing herself to the back of the table which was a bit uncomfortable. Food was excellent for taste, portion, temp, and cost though. I will say their Charcuterie board is definitely for more than 1 person and should not be listed as a main breakfast entrée. We are big brunch people and would probably go back for another try.

Cool spot. Nice ambiance. Server was solid and attentive but not obtrusive. Had the filet mignon which was good but not great. Crab on top was very fishy and tasted like it was straight out of a can. $45. Didn't compare to Del Frisco, Perry's, Shanahan's or the other $50 steaks in town. GF had the short ribs which she said were excellent. The stout beer, forget the maker, was very good. House salad was very tasty - great dressing. Nice spot and very chill but pricey for what you get.
